I have been going to Herb, Gordon, Subaru and its predecessor for over 20 years. Although I moved to Delaware six years ago, I still go there whenever I am in town for work. I do this because I know the staff will take care of me. Today, I walked in with a problem, and they took care of it within my time constraints and at a very reasonable price. I will continue going back.

I was surprised and impressed that they took the time to contact me and discuss my situation.Full disclosure: I won't be renewing my lease, in part due to the current financial market, but I do want to give them an extra star and high praise for genuinely striving to provide excellent customer service.Staff - 5+ stars (outstanding)Stock - 4 stars (very good)Pricing - 3 stars (average)Leasing/Financing - 3 stars (average)Overall - 4 starsI would consider them a good option if you're looking to purchase a Subaru in the NCR region.____________________________________Staff are excellent (5 stars).Stock and availability is okay (4 stars)Pricing compared to other dealerships is poor (2 stars)Leasing/Financing options are especially bad (1 star)Overall 3 stars.Bottom line: I would shop around in the Maryland/Virginia area to buy or lease a Subaru. Also make sure that you, as a consumer, understand your options and ask questions. Good luck.

I'm long over due from writing a review of this place, but this is the best service center I've ever gone to. I've tried other Subaru service centers that are closer to me, nothing but negative experiences. I go out of my way to coming back here when I need service or have car issues. They are fast, helpful, and answer any question you have about the service.

I have been getting my car serviced at Herb Gordon for the last 8 years. As a woman with limited knowledge about cars, I had always felt vulnerable coming in for service, not knowing if I was being oversold or up-charged for repairs that weren’t urgent or necessary. Since coming here, I have never felt that way.When I started coming here, I worked with Vitaliy Khlebnikov, who was always thorough, professional, and informative. Later I was transferred to Rodney Rogers, who is hands-down, the best service advisor I have worked with in my life. Rodney takes his time to explain all my repairs, offer me the best options for my price range, and communicates with me frequently throughout my time waiting for my car to make sure I never have any unanswered questions or concerns. He keeps me abreast about upcoming maintenance that I’ll need in the future, and I appreciate having the heads-up of the service items and likely price range that I should estimate for my next visit before leaving my current visit. My repairs have always been high quality, and I’ve never had to come back to report an issue that wasn’t fully resolved the first time I came in.Recently, I was in the market for a new car, so the Herb Gordon sales department was the natural choice. Every member of the sales team treated me with the highest level of care and customer service. Mike and Eddie Sarecky ensured that I was able to get the exact car I had in mind at a fair price. Brandon Le and Jim Walker clearly and patiently explained all the paperwork, options, and payment information to me, and Brandon promptly followed up with me after my purchase to see how I was enjoying my new car.If you’re looking for a trustworthy dealership that you can count on to respect your time, take exceptional care of your car, and treat you like family, Herb Gordon Subaru is that dealership. I love this location, but most of all, I appreciate having Luis, who helps me every time I come back to have my vehicle serviced. He never stirs me in the wrong direction, which I truly appreciate. I feel like I get only the best and fast service every time! I won't go anywhere else because of how welcoming and professional Luis is when we go back every time.

This is by far one of the best Subaru service experiences I've ever had! The manager, staff, and mechanics are all so helpful, responsive, and really hold customer service at a high standard. I had to get my car serviced twice in one week & they made the process as painless, affordable, AND educational as possible. Luis Prada & Vitaly, two of the service advisors, really took the extra time & energy to help me out this past week & I couldn't be more grateful! Would definitely recommend for Subaru owners!

Bring my Subaru for an oil change. The advisor tapped on my window within 1min On my arrival. Super efficient. Loner is offered right away for a 2 hour wait for completion. I didn't need it. But it feels so good to know they have a backup plan for me. The waiting area is nice and filled with snacks and coffee. Upstairs an extra quiet lounge that also comes with a coffee machine that makes latte, cappuccino, espresso,..the free car wash put a perfect finishing on the visit....strongly recommended!!!

I scheduled a test drive with Debbie and from the moment we spoke on the phone I felt comfortable. Debbie is knowledgeable about the vehicles, clear about the process, kind, welcoming, and above all HONEST. I absolutely love my Outback. Come see Debbie if you are looking for a vehicle, you will be impressed!

One star only because none is not an option...I want to preface this review with the fact that I love my Subaru. I'm a first-time owner coming from the Lexus IS series.I am new to the Maryland area and have an upcoming road trip. I desired to find a dealer near me that could knock out an oil change, tire rotation, and discuss another concern I had over oil consumption. After a quick Google Search, I came across Herb Subaru. After seeing 5 Stars, I quickly went to the mySubaru App (phenomenal) and made an appointment for 8/10 @ 2p.Because this car fits me and I have a keen eye, I know of two distinguishing marks on what are currently my front wheels. One is a small amount of road rash (front driver), and the other is shipping plastic in between the rim and tire (front passenger) that I have never been able to remove since purchase (9/22).After completion of the service and an inspection, it was apparent that the wheels had not been physically rotated as they were in the same location from my most recent hand wash, which occurs weekly, and was before my scheduled service appointment.As a result of this occurrence, I now have to go out of my way to find another dealer, presenting my car to them, for a check behind the Service Team at Herb Subaru. I am not confident that my other service (oil change) was completed correctly, if completed at all. Adding insult to injury, the car's maintenance system was reset to depict that a tire rotation was conducted. This also brings up safety concerns as this blatant disregard, if gone unnoticed, would have allowed the vehicle to go beyond Subaru's recommendations for service.I had tangible evidence of a service not rendered while charged, which resulted in a refund request for that particular service. Can the same be said for the hundreds of customers Herb Subaru sees in a month or the thousands they interact with yearly that place their trust in you as I once did? 19.95 is a small amount for one customer; compounded, that rate could be substantial for services charged but not performed.Regardless of how this happened, there is a need for a checks and balances system that ensures customer vehicles receive the services that are purchased.

Rodney Rogers in the service department is the man! 24 hours into our two week road trip from VT to NC our dash board lit up like a Christmas tree. Herb Gordon Subaru was the closest dealership at the time. We pulled in, met Rodney, and couldn't have been luckier. Diagnosed the problem, found the part in stock (normally a two week back order), got us a loaners, and had it fixed the next day. Highly recommend Rodney and Herb Gordon Subaru!
