Eddie and his team at Lifetime Stones did an amazing job on a retaining wall and walkway. He offered helpful design advice, handled all of the engineering drawings and permitting, and then executed the job masterfully. He is extremely responsive and the job was completed in a very timely manner. His mason and team were fantastic, and really knew what they were doing. Eddie even came back to fix one small thing that we hadn't even noticed, going well beyond the call. His prices are very fair and the craftsmanship you get is excellent.The curb appeal of our home just increased wildly with the beautiful new wall and walkway. We would hire Eddie and Lifetime Stories for any and all hardscape and stone/masonry projects in the future. We highly recommend them.

I had an entire aggregate concrete driveway, two irregular slate sidewalks and steps done by Lifetime Stones and couldn't be happier with the result. Their work was professionally done with the highest grade of craftsmanship and all at a reasonable price. I would not hesitate to recommend their work to anyone looking for high quality hardscaping work to be done.

Lifetime Stones did a great job rebuilding/repairing our retaining wall. The entire job took just two days to complete a section of wall about 15 linear feet long by about 3 feet high. They showed up promptly in the morning on the first day and did a great job cleaning up on the last day. I would definitely consider them for future work. Highly recommend. Eddie was a pleasure to work with.

We were impressed with the job that Lifetime Stones did for us, flagstone steps and retaining walls. Eddie, one of the owners, was a pleasure to work with. He communicated every step of the process, provided me with constant updates, and was flexible. We’ve used many vendors in the past for home improvement projects and I would say that Lifetime Stones is on the top of the list. We will use Lifetime Stones for future projects.

Lifetime Stones did an amazing job replacing our nearly 100 year old retaining wall by demolishing the old wall and using the same stones to create an attractive “dry stack wall” in its place. The wall is 3 ft tall by nearly 100 ft long.From the beginning of our search for a contractor, Eddie Lovius, the owner/CEO of Lifetime Stones, was quick to respond to our request for an estimate while other contractors were slow or unresponsive altogether. He promptly visited our property, submitted an estimate and provided photos of some of Lifetime Stones’ previous work enabling me to communicate clearly what type/style we wanted our restored wall to be. We quickly reached agreement on the price and scheduled the start of the project.Due to the bureaucratic requirements of the District of Columbia, 7 separate permits were required before commencing the work. Fortunately, Lifetime Stones’ architect was able to navigate the difficult maze, pay the fees, and obtain the permits in a tolerable amount of time without our having to pay substantial deposits as are often required.The work itself, of demolition and then the painstaking stone masonry work of shaping stones and assembling the jigsaw puzzle of the new wall, proceeded rapidly. The professionalism and skill of the lead stonemason and foreman, Raul, was reassuring as we watched the progress each day until the job was completed.We are completely satisfied with the final product and it is the pride of the neighborhood. Even after we’d made our final payment, Eddie and Raul agreed to return on a Sunday morning to readjust and reset one stone in which tiles with our address had been inserted.We highly recommend, without reservation, Lifetime Stones for any stone masonry work, wall repairs and restoration, or any other similar projects that you might be considering.SBAmerican University Park, Washington, DC

Eddie communicated very promptly and clearly in response to our questions. When we expressed concern about the timeframe, he was able to get a team out to complete the work on very short notice! Working with Eddie and Lifetime Stones has been a great experience. Eddie was always punctual, on time and very responsive. We enjoyed less than 24 hours of response time on any request that we have made. He never over promised and made sure to set realistic expectations. He took time to provide options, when we weren't comfortable with the initial plan. Eddie made sure that we had contact with the foreman performing the work. The crew was very professional and highly skilled, they made quick work of a very challenging and daunting project. We are very happy with the quality of the work performed and delightfully surprised the speed in which it was completed in.If you have a large and complicated project Lifetime Stones is more than capable of finishing it on time and in budget.

I hired Lifetime Stones to replace a damaged section of my concrete driveway and to install flagstone on my front walk, steps, and stoop. In the process they also replaced the drainage pipe extending underground from a front downspout (likely the driveway damage had been due to water collecting in the area).From beginning to end my experience with Lifetime Stones was exceptional. Eddie Lovius came to see my property the day after I called, and I received a detailed proposal (with itemized options) the day after that. Eddie always answered emails or calls immediately, was clear and knowledgeable, and was responsive to my many questions and to my request for consideration of my neighbor's property which adjoins mine. The work began about two weeks following my acceptance of the proposal and was completed five business days later (more quickly than originally anticipated). The foreman of my job and his crew were hard-working, considerate, and expert, with close attention to detail. Disturbance of my plants and lawn was minimal and clean up was speedy and complete. The result is beautiful.

I was impressed with how quick and responsive from day one Lifetime supported me. My home sits on a main highway with State restrictions as well as Township protocols that are required and at times very difficult to deal with. (From past experiences) . Lifetime took the lead and finished the work on time within the restrictions. All work was completed passed my expectations and my retainer wall looks amazing !
