MERCEDES IS AMAZING!! I had an incredible experience when I went to get a customized frame for my diploma. the assistance I received from Mercedes was truly exceptional. Her expertise, patience, and kindness made my visit absolutely amazing. Thank you Mercedes!

The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I was doing an instacart order so I approached the only person working & asked for help finding some needless. Not only did she not help at all, she had the worst attitude. She rolled her eyes and just pointed. I ended up cancelling the order and leaving. Most of the store wasn’t even stocked to begin with. Go to the one in Aspen Hill, so much better

I had a pick up order and I go to the cashier and she was really rude. She said your stuff it’s over there instead of being nice and telling me a let me show you where your stuff is. I will not be back to that Michael.

I've been looking to buy frames for a while to hang some stuff on my walls. Honestly, I've been a bit lazy at it and always somehow miss the frame sale that Michaels has. Shopping nearby I decided to stop in here and see if maybe I could find some frames and make those dreams of mine come true. Short story here, I didn't. They were having a sale on frames, but it appeared that everyone else had the same idea as I did, or maybe they all needed the same size as I did. Each area I would go to the size I needed was gone. With Michaels being one of the few stores where everything they have is on the shelves, I was out of luck here. I have to say, I was amazed, however, with the way they were able to cram a whole store into this space. It is not your conventional setup for a Michaels and they somehow managed to get the whole store in here.

It's better to go on a Sunday because the parking garage is free and unlimited.Too many of the merchandise slots in the store were empty. I was expecting the slots to be fully plenished since weekends are when most people come out to shop.

I honestly don't know how management trains their employees on customer service but everyone from the manager to the sales reps are unprofessional. I ordered pictures for my wedding over 6 weeks ago and the correct print still has not arrived. No one cares or even bothers to help resolve your concern, regardless of being in person or over the phone.I spoke to Mercades today and again... received no help. Store is severely understaffed and disorganized.

3.21.23 - The manager, after being asked via radio to assist customers, finally emerges from the back to find multiple customers needing assistance. She then blames the cashier who is the only person working in the store for not getting her faster. I've watched the cashier for 20+ minutes fielding questions, price checks, a consistent line of people making purchases and pick-up orders - all while waiting to get a refund for missing items from my pickup order. With a horrible tone she tells the woman off in front of us claiming that she heard the radio calls but didn't realize it was for customer issues. "Sometimes people call on the radio for other things. I've been working in my office. Alllllll you needed to do was tell me customers needed help." Um, we ALL heard her call for you 3+ times saying she needed register and pickup assistance. She patiently waited and you did not come. She tells me "You should have knocked on my office door." What?? This is a retail store. Get out of your office when 1/2 of your staff are on break! Don't blame an employee who has been nothing but helpful, polite, apologetic AND the only person out here working in the whole store. Her apron says "Framing" - is being a cashier even her job or should be be helping the guy standing in the framing section for the last 20 minutes??If you need to train or retrain an employee on how to assist a customer that is one thing. You do it later though. Do NOT be rude to your staff or try to shift blame in front of customers. It makes YOU look as incompetent as you are and everyone feels bad for your staff.Also, the craft felt for preschool we were there to purchase was terrible quality and the story was dirty and not well organized. I should have gone to JoAnn's in Wheaton. Will not make the same mistake again.Also, I was not refunded (as manager who finally appeared said I would be) for the hot glue sticks missing from my order. It is now worth $7.19 to never have to talk to this person again.

Nice place to eat. Other restaurants (Bus Boys & Poets, Starbucks, & Potbelly's) are also located in this area, as well as the Brookland Metro Train Station (2 blocks away). Also has a Capital Share Bike station across the street from the restaurant...(5 cents per minute).

Absolutely terrible experience. Was first in line and waited over ten minutes while only one associate was helping another customer. A second associate came to the register then quickly left. I put all my stuff back and left and will never go back to this location.
