My most recent visit was much more pleasant than the last although there's still a lot a room for improvement. It's still the only 24 hour CVS near my home and I've had more positive experiences during daytime hours vs. late night hours.

This isn't a bad CVS. The staff are usually friendly. The pharmacy lines can get long so we stick with the CarePass delivery. Sometimes it does take a day or two for them to fill but we can usually get a hold of the pharmacy by phone if we need them to fill something faster or if we have a question. We like the CVS inside Target just south of Georgia and Eastern in DC better as they are less busy and friendlier but due to laws they cannot deliver across the Maryland line, so we are sticking with this location.

This CVS is really hit or miss. If you're going there real quick just to get a thing or two it's OK. I go to it because it's closest to me, but I typically try not to go. It usually has everything I'm looking for, but it's really expensive whenever I walk out of there. Don't even both to go to the cash register to pay or you'll be there for a while. There's usually only one person with the line being 5 people long. I always just go to self check out and hope that the light doesn't blink and have to wait for someone to help. The pharmacy line is very slow and sometimes wait time can be on the slow side even if you're given a time. I get my meds here a lot out of convenience but I probably shouldn't. The line is always super long, no one knows where it starts for some reason so people just cut, and then they can sometimes take forever to get your stuff. Most of the people that are working there are not too friendly. I don't remember anyone being outright mean to me at the pharmacy, so I guess that's what keeps me coming back.

This is probably the worse CVS I have ever been to. Each time I go there is horrible service, bad attitudes and long wait times. Don't bother calling -- they never answer. They mixed up my order more than once and filled it improperly. It sucks because I live right down the street but I've moved to Safeway. If I could give them no stars I would.

Terrible pharmacy. I have had numerous issues with them not filling prescriptions in a timely manner. During the most recent incident, my doctor called in several prescriptions on a Saturday afternoon and I came by on Tuesday evening to pick them up. I was told that the prescriptions were still "on hold". Spoke to someone at the drop off counter and they did not have one of the prescriptions and could not order it within the timeframe I needed it. This is precisely why mail delivery services were invented. Came back on Wednesday and one of the prescriptions still was not ready. Had to come back a THIRD time and in the end they filled one of my prescriptions incorrectly.

CVS Pharmacy at Colesville Road is fine, responsive and fills prescriptions in a timely, accurate way. Today the rest of the store left much to be desired. In the middle of the day it was understaffed (apparently one person and the mmanager) to the extent that one of the entrances had to be closed. The shelves were not well stocked. I saw empty spaces on basic items, e.g. kleenex. Nor did this CVS carry the CVS brand sunscreen (which comes with zinc). I am a smart guy but even with the manager's attempt to help I could not tell for sure that the coupons and discounts I had were properly applied. So I decided to buy only what I absolutely needed and get the other items at Walgreens or another store. I will go the pharmacy but be very leery of buying anything else there.

I never write reviews. Don't even bother calling. They'll put you on hold for 20-30 minutes and then hang up, unless they hang up before they even put you on hold. Pharmacist and everyone working there is nice but they are very short staffed and cannot give the right information over the phone if you even are able to reach someone. They have given me the wrong medication before, contacted me that something was ready and it got lost, the list goes on and on. I truly do not understand this business. They need to hire more people or figure out how to be competent.

Almost forgot about this CVS! I needed a few things and I found some of them, but they're not well stocked nor organized. I didn't notice any employees around to even ask for assistance. I proceeded to the self-checkout. I eventually saw an employee and she didn't even acknowledge me! Wow! Won't be coming back here!

How does cvs manage to stay in business? What does CVS stand for? I'm certain no one know- consumer value. For a company serving clients since the 60s it's sad to see how little service they aim to provide. Filling a prescription is an ordeal and never quick and easy. Their main business is filling medicines but staff is overworked and often rude. Little to no organization and the employees could care less whether you get your medication or not. Prices are high and lines are often long.

This is a terrible place. I went to pick up a prescription for my daughter, who was running a high fever due to a suspected infection. The prescription was sent over by another CVS, because that first CVS didn't have it but their system showed this CVS did. I got into the slow pick-up line and when I got to the front I got yelled at that I should be in the drop-off line. Why? Because this CVS demands that you go to drop-off if it's the first time you're getting a prescription filled there, even if you've gotten a prescription filled at other CVSs before (what's the point of being a national pharmacy?!). At the drop-off line the pharmacist told me he did not have the medication. I asked him to explain, and he refused to clarify. I went to a third CVS, who did have the medication and were willing to process it, but the second CVS (this one) had to first transfer it over. However, nobody could get this CVS on the phone, and the pharmacy techs from the other two CVSs (the first one, and the last one) both told me that this CVS is notorious for never picking up the phone. To summarize: terrible policies, rude and uncaring pharmacist, and they never pick up the phone. Go elsewhere.

I dropped off my prescription at 3:30pm. I was told there was a two-hour wait. I came back 3 hours later. Not ready. I was told it would be another 20 minutes. Now the system is down and people are accumulating waiting. The clerk ignored us for a long time. I have choices, and this CVS won't be my choice in the future.

This pharmacy is horrible! The wait times are ridiculous and the customer service is below average.

This is the absolute worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. They don't take prescriptions related to mental health seriously, and won't prioritize filling them. If you come here be prepared to wait 2 weeks and feel horrible the entire time.
