This is one of my go to gas stations when I'm in the silver spring area. My parents have used their mechanic for several years including oil changes and light bulb replacements for the car headlights. They are honest working people that my family and I trust. They are reliable and give you a reasonable price for their services as well as a quick response time. The reason for 3 stars is simply because of how congested the area can be and the inconsistencies in working pumps and price increases. The benefit to this Exxon is simply the rewards system they're affiliated with Safeway on. It helps you save some money.

NTA replaced my brakes and rotors. After a few weeks they were squeaking a bit, so I brought the car back and they re-lubed them and put new pads on. Appreciate the help from Steve.Service: Brakes

Elmer was very helpful with quickly completing my Maryland state car inspection (took about an hour). I drive an SUV and it cost $120 to complete. He informed me that it costs $100 for a standard 4-door car. I believe other places charge a bit less, but I went here due to its close proximity and recommendation from a family member. There is also a gas station attached. As a note; it costs $45 to be retested if your car fails the inspection.

Would absolutely not recommend this place. Failed my inspection for a wiper that was properly working and tried to charge me $45 extra to pass it after I went and bought a new one. Absolutely unethical. I don’t give reviews but this was too mind boggling not to

I went there to get my new car inspected, and it was the worst experience. He did not want to honor my $70 Groupon because he stated my vehicle is a foreign vehicle and the Groupon only applies to "regular cars." So I ended up paying $120 for an inspection that my car did not pass. He told me to make the recommended modifications, and he will only charge me $45 to reinspect the vehicle. What a scam!!!! I took my car to another mechanic without implementing the changes suggested and passed inspections, and they only have one rate for state inspection, which is $90 for all vehicles. Oh yeah! The second mechanic said that it is NOT typical for a legitimate mechanic to charge for reinspection.

I called in at this location and they told me I could book an appointment from online. There was a slot open at 3pm on Saturday and so I booked it. But when I went there, these lazy employees they were telling me they don’t accept appointments through online since it was 3pm on a Saturday and they didn’t wanna work. I showed them appointment confirmation but all the front desk person said was I don’t know about this, we do not take online appointments. This was weird and I hope NTA looks in this issue.

Bad costumer service no communication ... I wish you could give ppl negative stars this would definitely be the place. Told me come at 1 told me a hour I ate got my feet and nails done and the still not finished then it’s a rude bald head guy like u can get a refund . After I already wated this long . Come on we got to do better . I wouldn’t wish this place on my enemy

I called to ask a question and the person who picked up was very rude. Instead of letting me ask what I wanted they kept saying "OK bye" and sounded like they just didn't want to help me.Then I made an appointment online for Saturday. When I went there on Saturday to get my oil change, I parked my car and talked to a mechanic in the back side of the shop who crudely told me they don't do Groupons on Saturdays, which I never read anywhere in their Groupon deal nor in their website when I made the appointment.The mechanic told me to come back the next day and didn't even apologize or anything for the inconvenience. He even sounded like he was annoyed at me. I don't know, maybe they just hate people who go there for the 1st time through Groupon because they don't make as much money from it (the truth is I was planning to keep coming here long term after using my Groupon if they provided good service).Mechanic said I had to drop off the car in the morning and come pick it up later in the afternoon and that I could not just wait for it. I don't understand why do I have to pay an Uber to go back home, then pay an Uber to pick up my car again, then drive home again just for a simple oil change that they can do in 20 minutes. What a waste of time and money. I could even wait an hour if they need me to but the mechanic said I HAD to drop it off, even if I make an appointment. What's the point of the appointment then if they are not gonna work on it until who knows when?

They were incredibly rude with my husband on the phone and in person. We had an appointment from 9-10am and told them we'd be back to get the car at 10. They told us we weren't allowed to pick it up till 5pm and DON'T come sooner. Then called us at 10am and insisted we come pick it up immediately because it was done. Very frustrating and rude. We will definitely not be taking our business to them ever again!

I have called a few times over the past few weeks to make an appointment for an oil change. I keep being told I should call back in a few days to make an appointment for the following week, so I have been. Last week, I was told to make an appointment online. So I did, I had an appointment for this morning. I show up to my appointment, and am told I can't get a service until next week. I don't understand considering I had an appointment booked. If it needed to be changed for some reason, that is fine, but someone should have called and told me before I drove all the way there. The worker was rude and walked away as I was pulling up my confirmation email of my appointment.

Just today, I had to have my battery replaced. Purchased it from an auto supply store, but in light of covid-19 and physical distancing in place, the supply store temporarily suspended engine light, code checks and battery installation. Since I did not know how to do it, I checked a few nearby auto repairshops/ gas stations. What a few other shops wanted to charge was riduculous! NTA of Del Mercado Exxon in Layhill were way more reasonable, friendly and very professional! From the young lady at the front (cashier) to Juan, who was friendly and quick and helped me remove the old battery and install the new one right away. I was heading home within 10 mins! The whole team was great! Like their business card says- "We put the SERVE, back in service" Thanks guys! YOU ROCK!! Shawnna C. Layhill/Aspen Hill, MD

scam,scam,scam...terrible rude manager and garage people...do not take your car or business here. they will make up a story on your car to make more money. quoted me a much higher price than what is posted on sign. also, dont bother complaining to the "general" manager lientte. he does nothing but give you some bs excuse to do better. same people still work there for years... he didn't even bother to reply to my email about the very bad manner employees. i would give minus star if i could
