This dispensary is in a good location, which makes it easier to get in and out. Great for quick trips. However it's rather impersonal. You place your order on a kiosk (which I would have done through my phone if I wanted to), then you get in line to pick up your order. Not to mention no one looked excited to be there. Only person with a smile was the gentleman who checked my ID at the door. It was a recommendation from a friend but the atmosphere wasn't very welcoming and quite frankly neither was the staff.

Do not go here! Cindy was very unpleasant to interact with. She was super rude to a first time guest and did not try to help me but instead seemed annoyed I was spending money there. Try somewhere else

Anthony from Rise Joppa does an amazing job everytime i come in which is quite often..He’s always in a good mood and is prompt and quick with the orders while chatting up about a product or anything in general that’s needed.. Everyone at rise is awesome but definitely check my man Anthony out..!

Ameerah was absolutely amazing! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and really took the time to listen and help me find exactly what I was looking for. She explained everything clearly and made the whole experience easy and comfortable. Her customer service was top-notch, and you can tell she genuinely cares about helping people. I arrived at Rise Tuesday night at 9:51 PM, well before the posted closing time of 10 PM. Despite this, the staff initially refused service, and only after persistent insisting did the representative—very rudely—agree to help. Even then, he claimed he couldn’t find my order, despite me showing proof via text and email confirmations.
If customers are turned away before closing, then the hours listed online should reflect that. First-time visitors shouldn’t have to waste an hour-long drive just to be denied. I go to GLeaf, Revolution Relief, and Greenpoint regularly, and have never been turned away as long as I arrived before closing. This was unprofessional and frustrating—won’t be returning to Rise and will advise others the same.
