Twice in the last month I've waited and waited in the vestibule for a shopping cart and eventually gave up and went out of my way to go to Whole Foods instead, which is significantly more expensive but at least I've never had to loiter and wait for a shopping cart there... Also, I've never seen a hand basket here and don't know if they even have them, so even if you just need a few items you're forced to use a cart or try to hold it all yourself.

I made the choice to come here today as I was already doing some other shopping in the area, might as well get everything done at once, especially with this heat wave.
I can't say I'd come back here, or that I wouldn't. It didn't offer anything that made me say "I have to come back to this location only!" The parking was good, however it is a smaller garage that offers parking which made the spaces a little tight. The elevator going up to the store was hot as Satan's house & had a weird smell to it. Upon entering the store, the lay out was odd to me. I was taken straight into the dairy isle, once passing the pharmacy. I don't know if there was a sewage leak, or something spoiled in the dairy department, but there was a strong lingering odor.
I sent my boyfriend to the produce isle, he came back and said there was an excellent selection. He's extremely picky so if he's saying that, I'll take his word for it.
I did get to check out the freezer department, which I was impressed with. They offered a lot in that particular department that my local safeway does not.
All in all I gave it 4 out of 5 based off the parking, and the few isles I did visit. I also had one interaction with an employee, who was nice. He seemed a little confused at the register but all in all he was able to help me when the time came.

Decent selection of most needed items, plus beer and wine. Staff is friendly, but as few vagrants around outside. Parking under the store is awesome in hot weather

If you want to be ignored while waiting at the deli counter this is the place for you. My money may not be much but it’s something that is still worth having the bare minimum service. 7/4/2024. @ 10am.

If they don’t feel like shopping for your pickup order, they will literally tell you that items are out of stock when they literally are not. Went in to shop for the exact same items they said were out of stock, and lo and behold they were in stock. Not even 10 minutes after telling me they were out of stock, I went in and found the same items. I even have it on video. This isn’t the first horrible pick up experience I’ve had with them, bringing out the wrong order, incomplete order. This store is incompetent in shopping for your items correctly, they clearly just don’t feel like even if the order only consist of 6 measly items. Changed the entire parking lot to include more drive-up/pick-up orders for what? To deliver half your order if they can even get that correct, or feel like looking for your items.

Yikes! I went to this Safeway yesterday and a lot of the deli meats were on sale. Cool. Until I looked at the expiration dates. It was all expired! Some of it for over two weeks! So, CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATES before you buy, because obviously Safeway doesn’t pull expired food, even meats! They just put them on sale. ?
