We had a good experience so far, mainly thanks to Kerry, the Silver Spring location manager… She’s been GREAT so far.
She recently brought to our attention some potential issues we may have with the lock on our unit’s gate.
She’s one of the reason we choose “Self Storage Plus”… Kerry has been very helpful, professional and took time to explain things; even when we were still shopping around for the right storage company.
The facility (Silver Spring) is well maintained… the building is clean (inside & outside), with a fresh scent (inside)…
5 Stars (so far)… except, just 1 bathroom available ONLY during office hours.

Rented the unit sight unseen cause it was such a great price. However when I opened the unit it looked like it hadn't been cleaned. There was a red stain not sure if it was food, bodily fluid or what. There were also rat droppings. Its a shame cause the price was so good for the amount of space and there was 2 level of security. I didn't even bother moving any of my stuff in, what a waste of money for a space I didn't even use.

Boyze was extremely professional and helped me set up a storage unit after an earlier miscommunication in the week had taken place. I appreciate and respect that, and the timeliness with which he took care of me.

This place is AWFUL! Not only does this place have rats they have SNAKES. DO NOT RENT HERE… The customer service is horrible. They change the closing time as they choose… one day it’s 5pm one day it’s 6pm! The guy locked the door on me at 5:38pm and insisted the main office was closed at 5pm.

Best customer service I ever had, Boyze at the storage was extremely nice and very professional, he was very transparent and ready to help, same goes to Monae on the phone very friendly, informative and transparent.

DO NOT USE this storage place!!! It’s full of rodents. All my stuff was ruined, and I have to replace everything. Their insurance is a scam so you won’t get your money back. Trust me, you’ll regret it if you store your things here. I wish someone warned me so I’m warning you. Stay away!!!

DO NOT MOVE YOUR THINGS HERE. Save yourself the frustration. This location is infested with mice. I've had to throw away my belongings. They say that it has climate control but that is not the case. It feels like a sweat shop. It is hotter inside than outside. I am actually going file a complaint with the health department as well as other appropriate government departments and organizations including consulting a lawyer. This location needs to be shutdown. Enough is enough.

Run ! Do not under any circumstance use this storage unit. Mice have completely over taken this place ! The customer service is a joke. They are absolutely no help. They have been having a rat problem for 5 years based on the reviews and still rent out this place to the public . So unethical! Who rents out a unit to people knowing all their property will be inevitably damaged ! Sick ! Worst experience I have ever had with a business.

Today I had the pleasure of Kerry servicing me at self storage. She was the most pleasant sales women and the kindest most considerate person that I could hope to take care of my needs at Self storage. Definitely trust them with my things and would recommend there services.
