I had trouble with the online application verification process and decided to go into the office to get some help. I was greeted by Don, who went ABOVE and BEYOND to help me through my application. Don was very professional and patient. I 100% recommend Silver Spring Towers. It truly makes a difference when the staff at an apartment community is willing to help you and see you as a future resident. Thanks Don & the Sliver Spring Towers community!

As a resident at Silver Spring Towers for six months, I've had a remarkably positive experience. While my time here may not be extensive, every interaction with the management, front desk, and overall apartment has left me with positive impressions.
Let's begin with the apartment itself. I found that the quality of the space aligns well with the price, especially considering its downtown location. The kitchen, though on the smaller side, could benefit from more space for those who enjoy cooking. Occasionally, there were issues with the laundry facilities, requiring me to use laundry on different floors.
Despite these minor inconveniences, the management team, particularly Pablo and Chris, stood out for their exceptional service. Chris even went above and beyond by lending us his fob when ours stopped working. Pablo, the office manager, was always available to assist with any questions, from payments to maintenance requests.
Speaking of maintenance, I was impressed by how quickly issues were addressed. For example, when I noticed roaches, the pest control team was promptly sent to eliminate them.
The location of Silver Spring Towers is ideal for non-drivers, with a bus stop conveniently located right at the entrance. However, I do have a suggestion for improvement on the Thayer side—implementing a front desk and stricter door access policies to enhance security for residents.
In conclusion, my time at Silver Spring Towers has been marked by attentive management, a convenient location, and proactive problem-solving. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable living experience in downtown Silver Spring.

I've lived here from 2020 - 2023. I'm not sure where this 4.0 rating is coming from (obviously fillers/fakes considering that some of the reviews are by people basically copy pasting). When I moved here, the rating was closer to 3.5 if not less. Things have not changed. All the rates have gone up and the infrastructure has stayed the same with the staff getting significantly worse.IF YOU PLAN TO MOVE HERE: make sure you're a man because they are incredibly sexist. Make sure you are white because despite the fact that the office is mainly people of color, they treat them horribly. Elderly people are treated horribly too.If it was possible, I'd rate it a 0. But the 1 i am giving it is for 2 reasons:1. The front staff2. Janitorial staff. Consider that they hire an outside agency to do this work.CONS:Unprofessional: The staff are horrible. They are argumentative, incredibly rude, and one of them (I think his name was Theo) is creepy and has made me uncomfortable on multiple occasions. When I reported this, it went no where.GASLIGHTING: they will lie about everything. they will pretend like they don't know where you got information from. I often felt like I had to record or email information to avoid this.YELLING STAFF: The staff have no problem with yelling at you or cussing you out. They CAN NOT be held accountable.DAMAGE: I've complained about molding developing about my heating unit and they said this was normal. I left my apartment for 3 weeks and came back to it covered in black mold. I finally called someone in and they said this is not normal and immediately replaced it. I also came back to my bathroom covered in dried up water/dirt because of a leak from above and they said I can clean this on my own.MOVING OUT: Note that when you are getting ready to move out, they won't respond to your submissions. One of the closet doors kept coming off the hinges. They previously fixed this. When I was getting ready to move, for 2 months there were no responses and I got charged for it.ELEVATORS: perpetually down. Upon move out, which was scheduled weeks in advance, they scheduled a fixing so they said they would work with me. This meant that I had to reschedule and pay extra to the moving company.

I lived here for a year and this is my honest review.
PROS:
- No mice or roaches
CON:
- The staff at the office is unprofessional, disrespectful and Getho. (I had to go tell one of them to check the way they address me) this is how nasty and disrespectful they are all of them without exception.
- The people at the front desk are good especially Paolo, nice and respectful guy.
- The alarm going off is very common art this place, you will be obliged to rush outside and wait until the firefighters arrived and check it. And at this point they take their time as they are used to the situation (God forbid if there really is a fire, it will be catastrophic for the tenants)
- The shared utilities system is a scam. I knew someone who lived there and never paid utilities until she moved out the same time I did. So they make the news tenants pay for everyone else. the olds tenants were told they will start paying a fix rate of $30-$40 in utilities per month while I was paying up to $109 alone in a studio apt. I travel abroad to come back to 2 bills of $98 I talk to the office people they told me it didn't matter that I was not there I still had to pay.
- There is constant renovation in the building, when it is happening on your floor, the noise if unbearable.
- The garage doors constantly breakdown and you can see people who don't live in the building walking in and out through the garage doors.
- People smoke illegal substances in their apartments and the smell goes in your apt through the ventilation system. (It was so bad I had to tape the vents to prevent the pollute air getting into my apt)
THE LIST GOES ON...
Overall, I'm really glad I left this place AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND LIVING THERE.

I had the pleasure of working with Chris during my recent apartment move-in process, and I can't express how grateful I am for the outstanding service I received. Chris went above and beyond to ensure that everything went smoothly from the beginning. Chris's attention to detail was remarkable. He ensured that my apartment was move-in ready, and everything was in perfect condition.I wholeheartedly recommend working with Chris.
