I take my mom here once a month to deposit our RENT money in her account. I have always appreciated that some of the tellers were patient with her. But my last visit here is my last (and I mean switching to a more trusted and responsible bank). I watched my mom go in and wait in line as normal to deposit a total of $800. When one of the tellers who was doing nothing told my mom to do this on the ATM. I understand if it was $20-40 but $800 in my opinion should be taken care of with a teller to make sure that that money is in the account. The girl took my mom outside to show her how to deposit money using the ATM and for some reason the machine read only $100 out of the $800. The teller said that the machine probably is glitching or something but the money should be there and that there is nothing else she can do. She left it as is and went inside. A few days later our check bounced due to insufficient funds. We are missing $700 and because of this we have to deposit $700 again along with a late fee for rent because apparently it will take a matter of weeks for this to get resolved. This would have never happened if she would have simply did the transaction herself inside. And yes it was the machines fault that it didn’t read it right but at least hire workers who are considerate, especially towards our elders.

Today I came to the branch to help individuals who didn’t not speak any English to help them open an account. We got there at 430PM and the reception we have received from the start was very disappointing and very disrespectful.I will be reaching out to the corporate office with a detailed description on how unprofessional the two staffs behaved towards Me and towards the individuals I brought to the bank.The CCTV should tell the entire story.

Y’all, seriously, avoid this place like the plague. I saw all the negative reviews, and figured I still wouldn’t have too much trouble considering all I needed to do was open a safety deposit box, but when I came in, a woman informed me that the bankers had back to back appointments, and they were booked until next week. They were just sitting there, twiddling their thumbs, as if I couldn’t actually see them doing nothing. I’m reporting to corporate, but I’m sincerely hoping that this review will save someone else from the horrible experience I had to deal with.

I don’t like this bank anymore. I have business account with this bank for almost 10 years. When I come to the bank to wire or some relative situation, they are not helpful at all.

I’ve been a long time customer and not a person that typically writes reviews but the experience I had today was beyond terrible. I was waiting for about 35-40 minutes and spoke with 2 women that said they were waiting for a while before I even got there that eventually gave up and left. The employees said we had to wait for the banker to get off her lunch break, mind you it is 3pm and she said she can’t even remember when she began. After I seen she came inside, I asked her if it is possible for her to help me and my mom and her attitude was worse than disgusting. Her name is Rosa or Rosie I seen it from far but she was trying to cover it. She said she still has 30 minutes left which just is definitely not true and was unnecessarily rude, said I can’t help you and I have other appointments even though nobody was in the branch and I told her we just wanted to access the deposit box and wouldn’t take longer than 5 minutes and she was grabbing files saying she has things to do then walked away in the middle of me speaking to where the other associates were which makes absolutely no sense if you were truly on your break. I’ve never encountered such rude blatant behavior in my face, this is beyond ridiculous. In the case someone is on break, there should be someone else in their place but just nobody in the branch able to help customers is ridiculous.

The customer service is very weak in this location. I had an appointment they kept me waiting for almost one and half hour.The lady who is responsible for opening the box is totally unprofessional.

I’m not sure why this location has a 3 star rating. This branch is located between my work place and home and always use that. Anyways, the CSAs are always nice to me and others I see in front of me. Very polite, courteous and accommodating.

Unprofessional sums this place up properly. Having only one banker to manage all appointments is beyond disgusting, considering each appointment takes a least an hour or more. I made an appointment and I had to wait for hours to get through. If I had walked in I would totally understand having to wait behind others but this is not the case. How can you have a busy location like this with one person doing everything? I'm done with this place.

The worst bank in downtown Silver Spring you have to wait longer for you deposit in to a business account smh by the time you come out from the bank you will receive a ticket notice for your car

I made reservations a week ago at this location for Tuesday but today a banker called Rozi Lazarte called me and she said my booking is canceled due too she is the only banker I never expect this type excuse from this bank the funny thing is she said she is booked the whole week she is the one who cancel my booking she has to provide me another time with priority.

The notary told me that I had to bring witnesses before she could notarize my document. The bank was fully-staffed and not busy, so I asked her, "you can't just get two people here?" She replied "no" and walked away.It's customary for notaries, not customers, to get witnesses. The notary at this branch is not only rude but too lazy to perform a service that's so easy that it's free to the public.I need a witness? Witness this one-star review going up.

I normally don’t do reviews but felt I really needed to share my experience about the horrible customer service at this location.I made an appointment to open a business account the day before via Wells Fargo phone support. They took down all of my contact info and set the appointment. The very next morning I get a call from the rep who’s going to be helping me, I believe her name is Rachel. She lets me know that I’ll be meeting with her and wanted me to email her some information before I came in. She said she would email me the documents needed. I said ok and we both hung up. I arrived at the branch for my appointment and told her I never received the email. She insisted she sent it and I shared that I understand but I never received it. She proceeded to show me the email address she sent it to and, of course, it was incorrect by a few letters. I told her the Wells Fargo phone rep must have taken my information down incorrectly because that is not my email address.We then went into conversation about what I was there for, to open a business account. I had all of the documentation needed to open an account, this wasn’t my first time opening a business account with a bank. She looks at the documents and doesn’t even initially realize that I had provided her my EIN number documents and asks where it is. I said it’s right in your hands. She says “Oh”. After reviewing my documents she says she can’t open my business account under the address I requested. My business address had recently changed and it was being updated in the Maryland Business Express website and had documentation to show to prove it. She blankly says we can not open your business account here with the new address. I was shocked. She then asks me if I wanted to set another appointment to open my account. I said no. I’ll just go to another bank that wants my business. It’s like they purposely didn’t want me to open an account. And their service and level of understanding seemed lacking.I wanted to give Wells Fargo a chance but this experience made me never want to use them for any banking.
