I know it's probably not the stores fault since the breads are made outside but I found a hair stuck to it

Store was clean. Only staff presence I noticed in the customer facing spaces were stocking shelves and replenishing food bars, which is much appreciated. But not a great experience overall when paired with an overly vigilant security guard racially profiling me while using self checkout to purchase items from the food bar. No matter the current company situation regarding theft prevention should security guards be hovering over/around customers making them feel uncomfortable. To cap it all off the hot bar food was not good. Chicken and rice with little flavor and questionable texture likely frozen.

Service is horrible! A mere two registers open. I wait for two people ahead of me to check out. As soon as I’m about to start putting my things on the belt another cashier closes the lane and tells me I have to go the only other open lane and get behind 6 people already waiting in that line! The cashier who was checking out the people wanders off, knowing full well I was standing in that line well before his cohort closed the lane. The manager on duty, Carlos, couldn’t have cared less about the cashiers’ obnoxious behavior. I’ve been a regular customer of that Whole Foods for over a decade. After tonight, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

$30 for the smallest box of hot food I felt a half a pound. Maybe 1 pound. The cashier said 11 lb. Next time I'm not buying it wow for lunch no way 30×5 = 150 150×4=600 . And I was not even full.

I've been going here back when it first opened and was Fresh Fields. Business in organics at the time was such they actually gave you coupon credits on your purchases. Things have changed but their standards are on point. It is one of the best for organics in the DMVADC area.

February 2024: after all renovations - expanded selection of breads, Asian food & bakery. Still busy place, you probably can avoid crowds around 6 PM daily or after 9 PM. This place is Amazon return & pickup place - friendly & fast service. Also, if you're Amazon prime & hit promotions - a lot of groceries pricewise below Giant with better quality.End 2024Good selection, reasonable prices, especially for the 365 brand. This store also has very good kitchen and daily food bar selection is quite impressive. The only downside is the parking, since it's shared among several stores (including CVS). Plus people frequently park there while going to Elsworth place. If you want to avoid parking hassles go there just around 5 PM or past 9 in the evening.

Security and a police officer followed me around in every aisle on more than one occasion. I guess their tactic is to make their presence known to keep shoplifters out the store. It felt more like "racial profiling".

Nicely laid out for both quick shopping and leisurely browsing. Nice selection of produce, meats, and dried goods. Bulk meats are sometimes a good deal, especially the chicken (good flavor in simple broths). Nice selection of cheese. Depending on the day off the week out time of day, can be busy. Self check out has a good number of kiosks, so goes pretty quickly. Nice to have the Amazon return kiosk. The parking lot is challenging on the weekends.

Most things here are super overpriced and the Prime discount makes no sense (especially considering you can't use Amazon gift cards), but their chorizo is excellent and $6/lb.
