About Yellow Tail Tech
Yellow Tail Tech is an EdTech company that helps people with no tech background or technical degree land their first high-paying IT job. About 90 percent of our students have no IT background whatsoever. Launched in 2014, Yellow Tail Tech offers 7 to 12-month IT training programs designed for serious and motivated students who want to jump-start or transform their careers. We prepare students for real-world challenges in Linux system administration. Our Linux certification training equips students with the skills to become Red Hat Certified System Administrators (RHCSA), Security Plus Certified and Linux Engineers. We also offer a Linux apprenticeship for practical experience, making it one of the best IT training programs for beginners.

I enrolled with YTT for Linux for Jobs in October 2024. I completed the program in May 2025, scheduled for the RHCSA exam, and passed it on 1st try in June 2025. The process is tested and it works.

I am extremely excited about my future having completed my first cert the RHCSA. I knew nothing and because of my time at Yellowtail Tech I’m in the way.
