Trackside Kitchen is a friendly little store and counter located right next to the tracks. It offers amazing, delicious food cooked fresh every day, including hot items like fried chicken and soup, and cold items like sandwiches and pastries. People enjoy the meatball sub, cold cut subs on freshly made rolls, crab dip, baked goods, ice cream, and PA Dutch style pretzels. The service is super friendly, helpful, and polite. The place also provides convenience foods, drinks, bulk candies, baking supplies, and other treats. While there was one mention of stale crackers, reviews consistently call the food excellent and incredible, recommending it for a great experience.

Trackside Kitchen has the best Fried chicken in Maryland. Other selections including deserts are amazing too. If your in this area of Maryland or nearby in Pennsylvania for any reason you MUST stop here. Real home cookin'!

Stopped here for lunch whilst taking a break from cycling in the surrounding mtns. A much better choice than the Subway I was headed to. People were super friendly & helpful. I REALLY enjoyed my meatball sub & ice cream cone!!!
