My partner and I, with our two dogs, visited River House Inn for a night and stayed at River/Magnolia Cottage. We had a really lovely time! The Cottage was newly renovated, quite large, and beautiful with a small screened in porch (perfect for the dogs). The host was extremely friendly and made us a delicious breakfast the following morning. The river is yards from the Cottage. The town was charming, and we also visited a nice vineyard about 20 minutes away. We will absolutely consider returning here when we can get away again! Thank you to our hosts!

Stayed at the Inn recently for a cycling trip in the Snow Hill area. The Inn is located right on the Pocomoke River, with awesome views of the river from the porches and the pool area. The folks who run the place could not have been more gracious, welcoming, hospitable or charming. Joe is a gem and a rockstar host! Snow Hill is a special little town. All the charm of Berlin, but much more serene and peaceful. If you are looking for a venue for a getaway, a wedding or a group stay, you can stop looking now.Rooms: The rooms are well appointed and clean.Nearby activities: Pocomoke river, canoeing, kayaking, Pocomoke forest, Furnace Town historic site, Berlin are all really close.Walkability: Parks, restaurants, downtown shops, historic district, even a canoe/kayak outfitter are within walking distance.

Lisa, Bonnie, and Joe all made our stay very comfortable. It’s a cute little place walking distance to shops and a bar with live music. The Inn has a pool and plenty of spots around the property to enjoy a book. Nice state park just down the road. Very dog friendly and even cooked our girl some bacon at breakfast. Human food was great too. 10/10 will visit again.

Bonnie and Lisa the innkeepers are gracious, generous, and gorgeous. The inn is beautiful and spacious. Lots of different rooms and spaces. Breakfast is awesome too. Always specials. We got a a room in the rear overlooking the river. Going to comeback and relax.

The River House Inn was the perfect spot for us to unwind from a long grueling day. To be able to come back, find great food in walking distance and then to sit in our chairs and watch the river take our cares away until the sunset was just what we needed. The breakfast was the same each day, but the food was fresh and tasty, not to mention the service was friendly and attentive. I hope we are able to come back when our load is lighter, so we can truly appreciate all that the area has to offer and that this quaint and comfy Inn is just waiting to welcome us home to. Make your reservation today and allow your Innkeepers to open the door to a restful start to your next journey!

Service was nice. We rented the cottage for the family stay. Was a little disappointed with the cleanness of the unit. Could used a paint job and some updating. Top floor, if you stay take care if you are over 5'8. We paid $500 a night. Felt it was high for the condition of the unit. The fan is low and can take you out. LOL. Grounds are nice and so was the pool. Breakfast was good everyday, but wish the menu had change. They did work with my gluten free needs. They also allow us to bring our four legged family. Would have give 5 stars if unit had been nicer.

Vaccinated and ready to go, this is one of the first places we thought of! Beautiful Inn, town and river, amazing breakfasts and fun restaurants within close walking distance. Rick and Dwayne are like the cool family you look forward to seeing again!

You will not find a better place to stay. The view and atmosphere is perfect and quiet for anytime of year. The breakfast is custom to your liking and delicious. There is definitely plenty to do if you don't have plans already. With town only a stones throw away. And the host's are the very best you can ever ask for extra accommodating for those special times with your loves ones.

Do not be fooled by the other reviews. Our room was supposed to be river view, but it was obstructed by a trailer and other equipment. The room was filthy dirty, old, and musky smelling. I cleaned the room with Lysol wipes, and we slept in our clothes. I checked in late, and the office was closed. We called anyway, and they told me they couldn’t do anything until morning. Me and my husband were celebrating a romantic weekend for our wedding anniversary. We checked out the next morning, and while we were waiting for our refund, the kitchen cook did not have on a mask, and a dog was walking around the kitchen. I love dogs and have a cane Corso of my own, but this is terrible for a restaurant not to follow basic laws.
