There is supposedly a local phone number for the Solomons office, but no one ever answers any calls. One star for that.

I would just like to share my experience with Solomon post,we had some urgent vaccines to be delivered from Honiara to Vanuatu, John and his team went over and above to make sure they were delivered and refrigerated on arrival he sent strict instructions via email to the manager of Vanuatu post to ensure this happened,these guys are the best of the best and can’t recommend them highly enough they perform 110%. Highly recommended this service to anyone needing to get their items to the right place in the right time.

Booked an appointment in advanced for passport services. We actually got in early and were done right after our scheduled appointment time. The nice employee that helped us answered all of our questions, looked over our applications to make sure everything was correct, and gave us a rundown on procedures from there. I've never used this location before but I definitely will again if I need something done!

Getting a passport here wasn't a pleasant experience. The clerk was condescending and passive aggressive.
I can only imagine what other people go through. I only wrote this review to confirm future inquiries by other customers. YES....that lady is insane & unhinged.

Absolutely hands down the worst!!!!! Returns mail to sender if box number isn’t on the letter or charges postage for that same reason. They know exactly who we are not service oriented in this little town at all… Happens to everyone we know….

The worst post office that I have ever had to deal with. Your packages may show that they are there, and ready, but when you go get them, they either aren't ready and you're told to come back or you get hit with additional postage when you've already paid postage. Hate this post office and the complaints seem to be mounting when talking with others who use this facility. Be warned.

Solomons Post Office staff are the best! They always greet us with a smile and are quick to serve everyone. They go above and beyond with the extras, such as handling last-minute requests to hold mail or phone calls changing the date of my return, etc. Today, they even managed to get a media mail package to me that had a former address and used the zip code for a post office that has been closed for nearly three years. Thank you, Solomons USPS staff for the excellent service you provide!

Came to get a photo for my passport and left with my passport application renewal sent in, plus new fabulous stamps. Customer service is excellent!!

Friendly staff but very inefficient. We continuously get someone else's mail even after telling them repeatedly they are delivering to the wrong address. We asked them to hold our mail and they failed to do that. Lately our mail is going to our neighbor for no apparent reason.

Love this Post office! The post Master and all the employees, especially Jennifer, are really good at what they do. Best of all, they know who their customers are and provide wonderful, personalized service. Everything from normal mail to packages to getting a new passport is done quickly here.

Friendly and very helpful staff. The current Postmaster has improved service 100%. This picture needs to be changed since the missing letter has been replaced..
