This is the smallest gym I’ve ever been to and by far the dirtiest. Most machines tend to be broken or have pieces missing and half the time your key tag to get inside will not work. Recently I went in (after paying for my membership) I was working out for 15 minutes before trying to move to an open machine only to be told by the gym manager I can’t use it because she’s gonna start using it “soon” for a rotation and actually held onto the machine so I couldn’t use it. Mind you no one was on or near this machine before I walked up to it and it had no weights on it or belongings near it. I’d think people paying 50$ a month should be able to at least use a machine they were at first as first come first serve should be the rule but needless to say I will not be returning to this gym and will be canceling my membership.

have been going here for almost a year now, the gym is very clean, all equipment is in great shape and maintained very well, they are always adding more to make the experience better, and most of all it is very safe. i left a $300 pair of headphones sitting on top of the storage cubby for a couple of days and they were in the exact same spot i left them when i came in this morning. staff is friendly and couldn’t be happier with my experience so far.

We can start off with the fact that their staff is completely RUDE and inconsiderate . I came into this gym wanting to cancel my membership due to moving out of state with my grandparents, and immediately got an attitude from the younger female worker. I then called and spoke to "Saundra". Who was also rude and had herself convinced that I was cancelling because of knee problems (which i assume was made up by this other worker to avoid doing her job). And Saundra consistently told me with attitude that she would never hire someone like this and refused to believe my "fibs", I offered to pay cancellation fee just so I would stop being harassed to pay my dues after I blocked the payments after this rude encounter : I have sent them proof that I have moved, They never did answer me and continued to harass me to pay my membership when I am 5 hours away in another state , Once I showed them a letter from a family member ; They told me that wasn't enough and i needed bill stubs , or my license, which i'm living with my grandparents.. I don't pay bills and Have yet to get my license switched over & have been out of state for over a month. No matter what you do they will not cancel your membership and they will be extremely rude because of you wanting to leave this horrible place . Pay the money to go somewhere better this place is not even worth the $25 they make you pay for a membership, If there was negative stars that's what this place would get.

We can start off with the fact that the staff is not nice at all, When i called to complain about the staff and this being an issue "Saundra" was extremely rude and had stated they're very careful with hiring and they don't believe that a staff member would be rude to a customer... Customer service at this place SUCKS. When I tried to cancel because of me moving they would not cancel my membership no matter how much proof I sent a repeatedly tried to charge my card after I proved I had moved. Go to a better gym . pay the better money, This place is worth nothing, Not even the $25 they charge for a membership , if there was negative stars, that's what this place would get! I do not suggest

Predatory gym contracts. I’d highly advise AGAINST using this gym. 24/7 access is cool however.

Tried to cancel my membership with no success. They charged me the monthly payment (40 dollars) even after I asked to cancel my membership. Tried to speak by message here with no response, they read and that’s it.

If you try to cancel your membership with this gym you will be loudly scolded by the front desk lady in front of other gym patrons that "no gym likes it when you try to cancel!" If you try to pay the cancellation fee of 50 dollars plus one month's due's as stipulated in the contract you will be told that you have to prove that you are living/moving out of state. When you do so with a valid drivers licence, you will be turned down and yelled at some more about why your reasons for cancelling are wrong in the personal opinion of the front desk lady. In this moment I was confronted with a choice either to stand there getting yelled at in front of other gym members and get absolutely no where with my cancellation, or to walk out. I chose the ladder, and calmly left. I immediately contacted Mark, the owner of fitnessrx and told him that I attempted to cancel, was not allowed to, and would be disallowing future charges from them on the card they had on file; but I am 100 percent ready and willing to pay the cancellation fee that I owe once you're ready to handle my cancellation. Mark never responded, and ABC financial services began harassing me asking me to update my payment info. I had no idea they were trying to call me until a fitness rx employee emailed me, when all the gyms were told to close due to covid-19, to try to process the cancellation. She told me their payment service had been trying to call me (I likely refused the calls because I thought they were scams). She refused to allow me to pay the fee without some other type of documentation that I was moving out of state, and told me that if I couldn't provide her with even more evidence than I had already provided, then she would be sending it to collections. I told them again to send me an invoice for the cancellation, why would you send a bill to collections that I'm literally offering to pay you right now? They wouldn't send me an invoice, and ABC financial services continues to harass me. I've made it very clear from the beginning, to the front desk lady, the gym owner Mark, and the employee Saundra who emailed me, that I am ready to pay the cancellation fee. This is getting to the point of pure stubbornness on their end. P.SWhen I signed up there was a kid (probably in high school) who I never saw again after my sign up. He told me not to sign up month to month because it would be an extra 20 dollars a month and if I signed up for a year instead all I had to do was cancel and pay 50 dollars for the cancellation fee. He never said 50 dollars plus one months dues, plus you have to prove your moving out of state, plus even if you do we won't cancel and we'll harass you for months.

The atmosphere is friendly and relaxing. I go for the warming pool which is amazing!! This is the one thing I do out of my day for myself and not only do I enjoy it but it has allowed my back to get stronger and it has reduced my need for unnecessary medications. So thankful for Fitness RX!!
