Updating-12/13/23. We are now utilizing their personal trainers for our son and we could not be happier! Speed, agility, football. Keep it up Coach Cam!!The Edge Training Academy is like no other gym that I have ever been to. The facility and space offer something only typically offered to college athletes. This facility gives you the freedom to: combine multiple disciplines of exercise, play basketball, workout on turf, run sprints, do high intensity interval training, practice lacrosse shooting, and when the timing is right, bring the whole family to get the sillies out. If you have not checked out this gym you are missing out. Thank you to the Edge family for creating this wonderful community resource.

Had such a great experience this summer with Speed and Agility training that was facilitated by The Edge. They arranged for Coach Coop to meet a group of the athletes in our neighborhood at the local field. She ran agility training twice a week for 5 weeks this summer. She was fantastic. We saw a huge improvement in our boys speed and endurance.For reference, our boys are 13, one a long stick defenseman and the other a goalie in club lacrosse.

We traveled from Chicago a few weeks ago for my 12yr old to work with Coach Marek at The Edge. My son had fun while being pushed in a very positive way. We'd make this weekly training if only we lived in the area.Coach Marek stressed proper footwork in dodging. This is key as I've watched far too many skills sessions where coaches allow kids to simply go through the motion.Shooting with Coach Marek wasn't simply about getting off a bunch of shots. Instead, my son worked on realistic dodging/shooting as well as step down shots with different release points from all angles on goal.Importantly, we walked away from the session with a lot of drills that are adaptable at home. As a result, our workouts have been much more focused than simple random shooting in the back yard. Thanks again to Coach Marek and we hope to do another session soon.

The Edge Lacrosse training and "Marek Skills" far exceeded my expectations. Coach Paul has not only developed my son's skill level but his field awareness and confidence level as well. I highly recommend Paul Marek and the lacrosse training at the edge to anyone looking to be a better all around lacrosse player.

We flew all the way from Dallas to work with Coach Paul Marek! Coach Marek was amazing with both my boys- age 9 and 12. He kept it fast paced and fun! He kept both the boys fully engaged the entire lesson with thoughtful and purposeful lax drills. He gave constant feedback that the boys were able to immediately use to improve shooting and dodging technique as well as new fun things to work on at home! We can’t wait to come back to work with him again!

Best gym on the island by far!Staff is friendly, the price for a membership is fair and the equipment does NOT feel outdated.I'd rather go here than any chain gym like Planet Fitness every day.Best part is if you are over a certain age, you have 24-hour access to the gym.

Bad bars, very little machines , but they do have dumbells that go high and good basketball courts the weekly and daily rates are a little high sadly for what you are getting . Very hot inside

Friendly staff, nice place to work out at later at night, love the fact that it's 24/7, only 24/7 gym in the area. The only complaint I really have is sometimes the people working out there are a little pretentious and modern things under their breath about me working out there cuz I'm fat.Sort of trying to go there to get not fat you know? Lol

The edge Academy has everything you want in a gym. The fact that it's so clean is just a plus. Lacrosse , basketball, cross fit and a gym The Edge leaves all excuses at the door ! Highly recommended it.
