Can’t speak much to their work because they barely touched my truck. Like all of us, I’m trying to keep an older vehicle on the road. My first option is always to do it myself and when I am unable, try to find a local shop.
I read the positive reviews and decided try Calvin’s when my transmission started acting up. He ran the diagnostics and said he couldn’t find anything wrong with it. Suggested a few options to check on my own but that he was confident it wasn’t the transmission. I asked him how much for the diagnostics. He refused, handed me back my keys and told me to call him if I ever have any other transmission problems.
You can spend a ton of money throwing money and parts at a vehicle. The shops a little tough to find but finding a stand-up mechanic is even tougher. Give ‘em a shot. Can a business gain a customer by NOT doing something? Yes…yes they can.

Thank you for getting my van back on the road. I left the shop and drove 125 miles with a lot of stop and go traffic and the trans seemed to work great

Billy is incredible! Right away you can tell that he loves what he does. He's honest and upfront about what needs to be done to make sure your vehicle is fixed right.

I've had a few expierences with this shop and they have all been wonderful! I had an accord a number of years ago, dropped it off for Billy to tear down and find out what was wrong with my transmission. He told me before hand it would be a small fee to diagnose it which was reasonable and I was fine with it. Went to pick up car after he diagnosed it and he didn't charge me anything for the disagnosis!
I also have a 2000 f250 diesel which was having trans issues. These guys diagnosed my problem pulled old trans, found a new trans, and installed it within a day and a half! I was amazed how quickly the work got done and was very impressed. Billy knows his stuff and is a good honest guy. Won't screw you and will try to save you money.
