I’ve come to Emma for YEEEARS! Literally the BEST hairstylist I’ve had. I always come to Emma when it comes to my hair. She’s a patient professional who takes time to learn your hair and execute your vision in the healthiest ways. Everyone is the salon is always friendly and communicative. When it comes to her clients she doesn’t play abs biggest of all she CARES. I am never disappointed abs would recommend her to EVERYONE ?☺️

Horrible services, spent 3 hours for a wash and blow out which cost $60.00. Left with damaged hair. She first told me $55.00 and then after it was completed she said $60.00. One of the girls burnt my hair. Despite telling her that do not use the flat iron she insisted on using it. There products are not safe to use in their hair, it smells of chemicals. The second woman ( Essa) took over to complete my hair. If you are Hispanic your price will be different than a non- Hispanic.

Great prices and friendly staff. I've been coming here over 10 years. Never found another hair dresser who does work like Emma. Definitely worth it?

NEVER GO TO THIS TERRIBLE PLACE. I would never try to give no stars not even that they deserve a negative amount of stars for the half fast and ugly work and not to mention how I was terribly mistreated. I went there for a simple cut. I asked for u cut hair. It’s pretty simple if you actually know how to cut hair which they didn’t. My hair was shoulder length and I left with an UGLY BOB CUT. Not to mention she was pushing me around in the chair. She tried to overcharge us when the service was around 20 dollars at most and there was a sign that said 10 DOLLARS OFF OF ANY SERVICE. SHE CAME TO MY CAR DOOR AND SAID THAT SHE WAS UNDERCHARGING US BECAUSE A HAIRCUT WAS WORTH 75$$$$$$$$. NEVER IN MY RIGHT MIND WOULD I GO TO THOSE PEOPLE AGAIN BECAUSE I LEFT WITH A TERRIBLE CUT, and I wasn’t treated like a costumer. The before and after pictures are unbelievable. I can’t believe I still have to give them one star after this. I deserve my money back because now I need to get a new haircut.Service: Haircut

NEVER GO HERE. My maid of honor went to this salon for a really cute look. She would’ve rocked it , the only issue is that they didn’t do a word of what she said. Her hair is thick and beautiful she has barely half of that hair right now. Her sister called me saying that she might not even make it to my wedding because her hair is so embarrassing. She was PUSHED AROUND AND YELLED AT IN A HAIRSALON BY SOME WANNABE DOMINICAN HAIRSTYLIST . Her sister sent me a photo and I don’t know how it’s possible one person could mess up someone hair so much to the point where she looks like an uneven mushroom. The only thing I think could fix it is a wig because no hairstylist can fix the mess that these incompetent hairstylist or shall I say wannabe hairstylists did. And they had the audacity to try to charge her $75 for a haircut I mean I wouldn’t even pay a dime for that hair looks terrible . So now we need to fix hair that only needed a trim because people can’t do their job. If you can’t do it don’t work in it. I want her to get her money back like yesterday and money maybe for a wig. Thank you for your terribly done work that cause my maid of honor half her hair!!!!!

NEVER GO HERE. My sister went for a haircut here. I came home and she was crying because her hair was terribly short after being longer than she’s ever had it. She wanted a simple cut and came out with uneven hair. She told me that these ladies were so terribly rude and tried to overcharge them. Her neck even hurt from being pushed so much. There was a discount on the window saying 10$off mondays which it was. The lady said they are doing anymore because of Covid like Covid had anything to do with it at all. We were supposed to be going to a wedding this weekend but I don’t think will go because she has the worst hair in history. So thank you for ruining her self esteem, mothers pockets, and a WEDDING. She was supposed to be a maid of honor but now she’s the maid of BALD!

don't ever go to this salon, first of all on the sidewalk there is a sign to catch your eye that says 10$ dollars off any services on monday's well i went on monday and took my niece who is a child for a quik hair trim no wash no blow dry just a plan old even up trim.well what i received was a super short hair cut which we did not request after we showed her aka the nasty so called stylist ugh omg ruff necked my niece as she cut her hair short short in the back and uneven to top it off and then told the 10$ off was a fake advertisement outside sign and after we question the mean stylist she said instead of charging 35$ she is going to charge us 75$ then came out to our car screaming at my niece trying to intimidate my niece to convince her that the hair cut was a good cut (not)..well my niece now has a rotten hair cut and is in a wedding which she is going to feel so embarrassed with her ugly hair cut...so fyi never visit this salon and i would like our money back remember bad hair cut done here go elsewhere

Ms. Betelle H, good afternoon after seeing your review I wanted to give you a feedback when visiting a hair salón. When our customers come visit we came sure to provide the best service with great products, you requested a blow out and flat iron which imply for your curlys to lose texture. I apologize for the inconvenience but your hair was not damage at Emma hair salon.

They ruined my hair. I went natural 4 years ago and now all of that hard work and dedication is gone because i went and got a wash and set here. My hair was so curly before and now after washing it, it's straight in random areas and not as curly. My hair also smells from whatever chemicals they have in their products. I washed it twice and it still smells. I had heard that Dominican salons put straightening agents in their shampoos/conditioners before but i had never experienced it . I'm sad that I had to learn this the hard way. I should have known something was wrong when she didn't put rollers in my hair and started drying my hair with a denman brush and blow dryer. It was out out of the norm from what I'm used to. Don't go here if you want to keep your natural curls.

I am supposed to go there every 2 weeks or every month for deep conditioner, roller set. Not just hair washing and leaving with wet hair! I need ROLLER SET and DEEP CONDITIONER for my hair to GROW. My hair is fine and thin texture. Rude, arrogant men driving Outside will try to do anything to interrupt your hair salon visits for even up to a year. It needs to stop, and it is quite silly and weird. Their objective it to stop you from regularly going into the salon. They know how to *deep condition and roller set*. Some salons do not know how to. I need the *doobie wrapping hair* with *bobby pins* after the *deep conditioning* and *roller set*, with *COCONUT* OR *OLIVE OIL*, not hair dry wrapping with nothing in it. I do not use silicone gel oil with wraps. It is too thick. My hair is not thick. They need only LYSOL air freshener and BARBICIDE for the blow dry hair brushes. They need PURELL unscented hand sanitizer only. They do not use STANDARD LOTABOTTY SETTING LOTION for hair wraps. They do not have it as of yet. They do not use wide toothed shampoo combs to avoid hair breakage. I cannot share hair strands up in my wrap with people brushes and towels. Get your own deep conditioner, blow dry brush, your own relaxer, wrapping setting lotion, bobby pins, and buy a new face towel before entering. They will give you high quality deep conditioning under the dryer when asked. They know how to do fine textured hair well for wash, blow dry and roller sets. They do hair well.Men with no hair/short hair have no business being up in the salon if their intention is not for you to get your hair done on a regular basis. Going to the hair salon to get your hair done once a year is manipulative and not acceptable.
