Went here for a few years. Had a lovely pediatrician which was why I stayed. When she left and the gov't. raided them for medicaid fraud it went down hill. The owner is still there, although he don't have license to practice he running things and putting it in other doctors names. The staff is ignorant, rude disrespectful, and the Doctors I don't think are licensed. 1 doctor falls asleep in the middle of taken care of you, like really! All the good doctors are gone, they don't have professionalism, privacy or boundaries. My whole family left as well as church members! They are a JOKE here BEWARE! It's sad to see from the comments that nothing has changed! The owner actually uses other doctors of his culture to put the business name in and still runs it behind the scenes... scandalous! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE, HEALTH, STRENGTH!!!

I have been a patient here for over 20 years and it has suited my needs but lately things have gotten worse. I called to schedule an appointment and no one answers and the one time that someone did I think the office line was transferred to his cell. I'm not sure what's going on but I need my medical records so I can move on.

The worst, I had to keep calling and calling and than when I talk to someone he ask what kind of insurance I had, I told him he said we don’t take that and he just hung up the phone. Very Rude.

Short story: do not waste your time coming here. They won’t respect appointments, don’t seem to know how insurance works and fail to assign you to the right doctor for your concern. If I could give 0 stars I would.Long story: I booked an appointment for an annual skin screening with an NP at the group. I arrived for my appointment 10 minutes early because I was a new patient and anticipated intake forms. But the night before I uploaded photos of my ID and insurance cards to expedite the process. I sign in with my name, arrival time, appointment time and the physician I booked the appointment with. I give them my ID and insurance cards and they ask if I have an appointment- 1st red flag. “Oh ok we just need to input your information into the system”So now I sit down, fill out their intake form and wait to be seen.In the 20 minutes I was sitting I watched one patient leave after being told they didn’t accept their insurance. They had been waiting since before my arrival so at least a half hour before being told they couldn’t be seen. They were rightfully enraged for not being informed ahead of time, upon arrival, or before waiting so long.I then saw another patient be told they owed $200 for their appointment. They then remarked that every time they come here they bring a letter from their insurance company because this facility regularly attempts to overcharge.I then went up to the front desk to inquire about the status of my appointment. At this point we’re 20 minutes past my appointment time and there’s no sign of being seen any time soon. I go up and then am asked for basic information like my phone number, address and email. What were they doing while I was sitting for a half hour? I then receive an email that my appointment has been scheduled for 2:40 with a different doctor. 40 minutes after my appointment??? “Oh well the NP you booked with isn’t here today.” Why not tell me when I arrive?? Or better yet before I drove 20 min.I then ask what the actual wait would be to be seen. He goes to find out. While he inquires, I Google the new doctor and she’s an OB/GYN. I ask him what is going on because I booked for a skin screening. “Oh the NP you booked with is the only one who could see you for that.”A total of 40 min later I leave enraged and without the screening I needed.Oh he also asked with my insurance card in hand what my copay was. It’s literally on the card…

Horrible experience. Took my toddler there as a trial. My appointment was for 2 they changed it to 3:30 without any notice. I had to call 3 times to even confirm my appointment. Showed up saw a nurse smoking and another nurse rolling up in a car. The whole place is outdated and worn down. The kicker was what they tried to charge me. $140 for my toddler and told me my co-pay was $40 but the visit was $100. I was so confused. Asked the nurse and even told her I’ve never had to pay a co pay let alone a $100 visitor fee. Here’s another kicker her reasoning was my policy stipulate $4000 worth of coverage. So someone/anyone please tell me what that has to do with their $100 fee let alone $40. Seems they are charging people so they can pocket the money because it for dang sure isn’t going towards repairing the place. Never again.

Worst place you could ever go to if you moved to Maryland and your just looking for a primary care doctor do not go here. Back in 2015 they were sued for insurance fraud under different management. Now it's 2022 and I moved back to the area and it's still just as bad. They only operate on M,W,Th. Meaning they're closed Tuesday's and Fridays. They only operate 3 days out the week. But the doctor only shows up on Thursdays ONE DAY out the week!!! Monday and Wednesday it's only receptionist at the counter to take calls and they don't even answer the phone. I got my blood drawn and had to wait TWO WEEKS for test results they didn't even call me to follow up and prescribe medication even though the results had came in from labcorp after only 6 days why do I have to wait 14 days until my next appointment for you to read them to me and prescribe medication. I had an appointment that was scheduled in advance at 4:00pm I was waiting in the lobby for so long I didn't get seen by an actual doctor until 1 hour and 30 minutes later it's not an urgent care or an ER that runs on first come first serve THIS IS A PRIMARY CARE DOCTOR. RUN FOR THE HILLS!!!! the assistant called me in the back with another patient and told me to stand in line and took my vitals in front of him weight and all I didn't even know that man that has to be again some law.

I recently visited here and received great service. I was seen on time and the NP was very nice and considerate as she examined my injury. This place has so many negative comments so I was hesitant but I had no issues. It was overall a positive experience for me.

I had an awful experience repeatedly with this office. Between horrible customer service and deceptive billing practices. I have gone there over the past several years, mainly because I felt the office was conveniently located and had extended business hours. That probably was the actual problem. It is clear that the physician staff and administrative staff have no regard for their patients because its generally a lower income area. I have called AETNA with this office on the line to verify my coverage and even the AETNA representative was appalled at the beligerence of the staff member (Esther) who answered the phone. She was being rude accusatory and dismissive, even after AETNA confirmed that my insurance was covering my service at 100%.She admitted that they will add on charges for other services which aren't part of the visit purpose so they can pretty much swindle a payment out of a patient. She didn't apologize for inaccuracy and inconvenience they caused me for going for my appointment only to be told I had an out of pocket cost which in fact didn't apply. Prior to today, this has happened several times where I have had to contact my insurance to verify coverage myself and my presumed out of pocket costs if any. I have had instances where I am misdiagnosed by their nurse practitioners, and given irrelevant medication, or even had to go visit another physician because the diagnosis didn't make sense. I have been there for hours after setting an appointment with no remorse from the provider for the time they waste for patients. It is unfortunate that health office like this continue to exist and sometimes people continue to utilize them because they sometimes make sense for an individual's life situation. I hope AETNA and other carriers eventually remove Brightseat from their list of network providers.

RUN!!!!!! They charged me $150.00 with medical insurance and I should have been only charged $25.00. Still to this day I have not received my refund from a service that was done on 1/21/2021. They billed my health insurance for services that should have never been billed. They had me see a brain doctor when I broke my toe. He was even unclear as to why they sent me to him. All he said was I see something is wrong and you need an e-ray. It is so much more and I am still fighting to have my finances returned. I have the insurance company working with me, and they also had me to fill a complaint against Brightseat Health. So, for me if you have a serious emergency go to the hospital. It might take longer, but you will be taking care of in a way that you would be pleased. This was and still a nightmare at Brightseat Health in Temple Hills. RUN!!!!

Stay far away, believe every review, the nurse practitioner removed lidocaine from the trash that had expired in 2017 and 2019, hence the reason she couldn't do my procedure of removing a cyst. This medication (I believe) had been used recently because they would have current medication in the facility. I got the heck out of dodge, and they can keep the $75 co-pay and I will suffer in pain until I can get an appointment in a real facility. P.S. the nurse practitioner was really nice, just a little unorthodox.

STAY AWAY!!!! This is the most incompetent medical office I have ever dealt with in my career. I have been waiting on medical records for one client for 6 months. The staff are awful, rude and mostly ignorant. I wish I could give less than 1 star. Sad...
