I have been a customer for about 5 years and have not yet been disappointed. The customer service is outstanding and I always leave with new-learned information about the human body and how it functions. I also do my due diligence to verify and they are always on point. I Love This Place. Sometimes when I'm in the area I just go by to hang out. And again I leave with information to help me and my family.

I've been going here for 10 yrs, just discovering sea moss benefits since covid. I tried the Ray's Irish Moss already made since my distributor is out of it right now and didn't feel any benefits from it.I went back to the store and said I will try to make my own and bought the clear glad bags (2) sitting on the counter. I was surprised at the price which should gave been a red flag.The sea moss like doubled in how much it was in the bag once I had placed it in water after cleaning it.Went on YouTube to see how to tell the real from the fake. You already know!!! That was the first sign and that it looks like it has salt in it, checked the 2nd bag and there were all the white slt looking spots... so disappointed in them I spend good money in that store, like we all do. NO MORE!! IM DONE!! And I believe whoever Ray is, is taking over the store. THE sister told me Ray was her son, whatever! And he makes the sea moss.the date said 12/18 she said it was made that day, but delivered the day before, I said the date looks like it was changed from something else to the 8, Oh thats how he writes she said. So done!!

Visited here yesterday to pick up some herbs. Very clean store, quiet atmosphere (Until, my baby started crying at least, LOL). Not sure who worked on Monday afternoon, but she was great as well. Highly recommend. I'll be backkkkk!

After being a customer of Ms. Gloria for over 5 years referring over 50 customers to her establishment I will never support her establishment ever again after today.Today at 12:29 I dropped/lost over $300 after paying for two bags of avocado chips, the last two jars of raw manuka honey and a sea-moss drink. I am taking full responsibility for my misplacement of my own funds which I misplaced between her register and the curb in front of her store where I was parked.The part that broke my heart to the core was the fact that Ms. Gloria, her sick sister ( just recovering from a stroke) who should not be working at this time along with Ms. Gloria Boyfriend who served time as a law enforcement officer gave me the most inconsiderate response.I swore by her intentions until this situation took the cake. I have always felt Ms. Gloria was money hungry based on my observation and others; however, I charged it to her mind and not her heart. I continued giving her my business because of convenience and loyalty. Ms. Gloria was not in the location in Marlow Heights when I dropped my money, she was located at the District Heights location.Once I realized I dropped it I called and Ms. Gloria’s sister (the one returning from a stroke whom was running the store at the time for Gloria) responded “I would never take money from a customer I do not know anything you have to speak to Gloria, I cannot help you.” Not once did I accuse her, however she quickly stated that. I came back to the location and continued trying to reach Ms . Gloria, once I finally got a hold of her she immediately jumped to conclusions about my frustration relaid by her sister and stated “my customers are a priority and I can not stop what I am doing to run to the camera to see who took your money for just $300.” Although I never asked her to leave her customers to address my issue ASAP. At this point I still did not tell her the reason for my call completely. She also stated “ my sister is sick and you questioning her can make her have another stroke.” My response was she should not be working there if that is the condition she is in.When I could finally speak to Gloria without interruptions and her being defensive I explained the following. “As a loyal customer who refers people to your establishment, spent over $2,500 in your business over the years, protected you from other people being disrespectful to you, us looking out for each other over all on many occasions you mean to tell me you have assistance where you are and you could not politely tell me or have someone else tell me to wait?” Gloria and her boyfriend told me “even if we find out who did it, what can we do? We can loose business so I do not know what you want me to do.” They both were really nonchalant as I tried to find the best resolution.Lawfully I know they do not have to do anything. All of my activity was recorded and if by chance I did drop it in her store and a customer picked it up, knowing how much I have invested in her business as a business owner myself I would have ensured some type of high consideration for my customer. I would have pulled the footage when I could, checked to see if I could find anything and if I did I would tell that customer who took it in my store to return it or never come back. But that is me! But instead Ms. Gloria belittled the amount lost by saying she would not jump through hoops for just $300. She showed zero concern for my since of urgency at no point at all.Ms. Gloria her boyfriend and sister could careless about getting me any form of comfort to ensure they had my back to any degree one bit and that hurt worst than losing my money. The money can be replaced but now I will never return or recommend anyone to spend a penny in her over priced convenient health food store because supporting black owned businesses who really do not care about the people is not something I will not recommend anyone invest it. It is sad that over the years I thought she cared internally but I see she is driven by money In this business. Watch closely

Amazing place. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Based on my inquiry, one of the staff members recommended Wheat Grass. My wife began drinking it and absolutely loves the results she's been getting! I highly recommend Natural Health Center.

I have known Dr. Gloria and Leila Kissoon for 20 years. You will never find more spirit filled, resourceful, dedicated to providing YOU the best overall care that will heal you not aid you herbalists in the DMV. They have helped me with Drug adddiction, thyroid issues, mental health advice and aids for my father. Dr. Gloria is a intrical part of my existence. She's on the list of necessities along with attending church, grocery shopping, work and school. The Natural Health Center and Dr. Gloria are simply must haves for a healthy life.
