“I have got to tell you how great a help Amber at M&T bank in Rouzerville PA has been to me and my family. My father passed away in September 2023, which was difficult already, but then my sister, who is a specialist doctor at a major hospital as well as a mother of two little kids, and who lives halfway across the country, had to take on the additional task of executor of his estate. She has had absolutely no time to spare to do things like travel repeatedly to PA, which at first we thought was going to be necessary to close out his account and his safe deposit box. There seemed to be a lot of documents and red tape involved. Amber, who has years of experience with M&T, worked out a way to streamline this whole process so that my sister only has to come in once and get everything done same day. Amber also said we should contact her again if there is any way she can help move this whole process along. Several months ago, I also closed two old accounts that I still had open with my ex-husband. The process took almost an hour to transfer funds into the new account and some paperwork to close the old accounts.
The guy who helped me was friendly and made the process relatively painless.
