This H&R Block office misfiled my state income taxes for 2020 unbeknownst to me until I received a letter from the State of MD in December 2023 stating that I owed additional income tax and penalties. I was given a due date by the State of MD of Jan 5 2024 to pay the back taxes and penalties which I paid. I have gone to this H&R Block office multiple times to discuss this issue as they acknowledged they would be reimbursing me for the tax penalties and interest. It has been almost 2 months and I have yet to receive the reimbursement. I have been an H&R Block customer for almost 40 years, but no more.

Colleen was great at letting me know all details of my returns, and answered all questions I had about my return. I have been coming to the Thurmont H&R Block for about 5 years or so, and will be a returning customer every tax season. Jasmine is was very professional and nice person who really seem to know what she was doing. She was extremely proficient and knowledgable and what I needed. I would not hesitate to go back to her. The entire atmosphere of this office was very pleasant. They made you feel good from the moment you walked in. I could not have had a better experience!
