We usually visit Baltimore Coffee and Tea at their roasting hub in Timonium. The variety of coffee beans is astounding. In addition to getting fresh coffee, a sandwich, and a cookie for a quick snack, we usually get beans to take home. The Kent Island Powerhouse is our favorite sandwich with brie, avocado, spouts, onion, lettuce, tomato, and chipolte mayonnaise. My preference is for Central American beans. By the way, we had a pleasant surprise when visiting the National Cryptologic Museum near Annapolis to find Baltimore Coffee had produced the blends they sell in their gift shop. The "Unclassified Blend" with beans from four Latin American countries (Brazil, Antigua, Guatemala, and Colombia) was a real treat.

I'm not a coffee person, so I love having so many tea options. When I want "unflavored" tea, their Reserve line is my go to. The vanilla tea is the best I've had, and they have so many flavor options I often grab a variety bag so I can get several flavors without busting my budget.I like that they have a loose leaf option as well as teas in teabags for convenience when I'm not at home and I need a tea fix. And many teas come in money-saving bulk options - 100 teabags or 1 pound loose leaf - if you go through tea like I do.And I love being able to support an awesome local company too!

Baltimore Coffee doesn't fool around. They don't play fair either. As one walks to the door, the magnificent aroma shows itself. Then, once one opens said door and walks in, the urge to buy at least one of everything washes over you. They have a WIDE variety of items; coffee, tea and food, and they are all great. The service is wonderful and as the vast array of teas, coffee beans and coffee bean grinds available, they are quite patient helping you sort out your needs.
Aside from everything being top notch, the company is a great company. This shows in the demeanor and attitude of the servers, the state of the store and the little "behind the scenes" details that appear demonstrating awareness and care for their product and their customers.
The cups for the cold drinks, for example, don't leak (except through the straw hole) if you tip over your drink. The cups themselves are #1 recyclable, one of the 2 grades that are ACTUALLY universally recyclable, they have heavy paper straws that stand up to being in the drink a few hours as well as BaltCoff going through the trouble of trying and finding great drink carry trays. The trays are sturdy but can accommodate all their different cup sizes well. I get this is a minor detail, but after years of accidents and issues with trays elsewhere, it is GREATLY appreciated. Items such as these don't leap out at you, they have to be searched for. That indicates the outlook of the company towards their customers as well as their community. Who could ask for more?

Coffee galore. Dozens of teas. Coffee and tea related gifts. Efficient staff and fresh breakfast sandwiches. Highly recommend.

We’ve ordered 7 different teas and had them shipped to Iowa after I tried some of the black currant (Black Raven) at a coffee shop here in Des Moines. We love all of them, but especially Black Raven and the Apple Cider Tea. Shipping is fast and I appreciate the compostable packing peanuts they use for their shipping. I can’t wait to order more for Christmas gifts - definitely a bright spot in our quarantine.
