“Their online store is wonderful! Never stop making the candles/fragrances! I’m a perfume enthusiast and they have some of my favorites. I love the Botched Lobotomy candle. It’s the most unique scent related item I own. Never smelled anything like that before.
I live in another country, but I hope to visit the actual shop one day! ?”
“Oh my goodness. Rush, do not walk down to this jewel of a shop in the sweet little neighborhood of Hamilton. Found Studio is the vision and brainchild of Artist/Teacher/Southern Belle Kacey and her team. An ubër curated place, full of surprises and delights. Gifts, cards, artwork, soaps, Marylandia, all manner of whimsies. You will find the perfect gift, plus goodies you didn’t know you had to have. Want to support small, local businesses? Start here.”
“I love Baltimore in a Box! Years ago I started sending Baltimore boxes to friends who moved from Baltimore so they would never forget the flavors of our wonderful city. Now I send them to family and friends in town for birthdays and get well wishes and they love them. Ross always does his best to deliver these precious packages on time and in great shape. Long live Baltimore in a Box.”
“A hidden gem in Roland Park! There are so many cute and unique things to discover packed into one little shop. Best place to shop in all Baltimore. Gorgeous displays, unique gifts, local artists, garden items ; always a magical treat – especially during the holidays. Exceptional service. Incredible experience. Highly recommend!”
“This store is more than the sum of its parts. I went in today, not needing anything in particular. I ended up having a nourishing conversation and leaving with some Dream Lion incense. I almost second-guessed myself on the incense, because it was a little pricey, but I'm home in my study with some lit now and I think it's the best I've ever bought, its transcendentally good and it gives me faith in the quality of Tortuga's stock list in general!”
“Always extremely warm and friendly ! Always ready to help and assist anyone in need ! I I have been an avid shopper of them for years ! Everything they have is high quality !”
“The shop is filled with beautiful & well crafted mosaic art and jewelry by proprietor Gail Rosen and artworks by others. Gail also sells a large selection of interesting and often visually stunning crystals, rocks, towers, fossils, and stone carvings.
I've bought many things from Andamento over the past year, including small mosaics, accent lamps, goddess figures, and gorgeous polished stones. And I just picked up from Gail a commission she made for me for a traditional yin/yang symbol made of black and white glass tesserae. I love it!”
“A wonderful gift shop of eclectic, hand-selected items. The atmosphere allows one to use their imaginations when selecting: Clothing, gems, crystals, incenses, jewelry, specialty greeting cards, games for children (and adults too),Jellycat stuffed animals, and Fair Trade items! Once you are there, you will not want to leave!”
