This location is incompetent. The online schedule maker allowed me to make an appointment even though it apparently shouldn’t have since I hadn’t been to this location in over two years. Not only that it only gives me options to book with a doctor for a drop-in when I just needed a couple vaccines for my dog. I just assume this is all standard but alas it was not and I show up just to be turned away. No one gave me a call to tell me ahead of time (despite claiming that they at least meant to). This location is a little closer to me now that I moved so I decided to give them another shot but that was a mistake. The Timonium Banfield has always been great I should’ve just gone to them again and I certainly will be from now. Towson Banfield has pissed me off twice now, I do not recommend.

Our experience here has always been a good one. Each visit the staff is courteous and show a great deal of knowledge treating out pets!

I’ll be fair. I feel the care my dogs received over the last three years was adequate. I had the wellness plan and followed their schedule for appointments. Outside of that, they rarely answered the phones and the wait times were horrific. Recently I made an online emergency appointment because my dog was vomiting and not eating. As I was pulling into the parking lot I get a call that there was a glitch in their booking application and they could not see her as scheduled. I asked if there was another location that could. He said he didn’t know and that I would need to call and find out. This was the final straw for me. They had no concern for the welfare of my dog or my inconvenience. Anyway, I found an alternate location (on my own) and promptly canceled the wellness plan and opted for a private vet. Also there’s a huge fee to cancel! Beware!

I signed my dog up with them and was greeted by a young African American female. She did not explained the diff plans with me just gave me one to pay more I found out later I did not have to get all that. I told her 3 times to let the Vet know to just give my dog the rabies shot they gave him 2 booster shots also without my permission. Will not be going back there. Tried to cancel contact I have to pay for the whole Year. All they think about is how much money they can get from you… I gave 1 star because they didn’t have zero I also warned all my friends about them.

We have been going to Banfield for years with our 3 big dogs and they always get us in quickly when we have emergencies. Everyone that works there is so kind and helpful! One of our huskies has been sick on and off for a little over a year and they have been so loving and have not stopped trying to figure out what is going on with her. We just appreciate all they have done for us and how at ease we feel bringing our dogs there.

I had the misfortune of taking my cat to Bandfield Pet Hospital recently, and it was an absolute disaster. We arrived just 5 minutes late due to unforeseen traffic, but rather than showing any empathy, the staff refused to treat my cat, who had a serious open wound. Their lack of compassion and rigid adherence to their schedule was astonishing. It’s clear that this clinic prioritizes punctuality over the well-being of pets. If you care about your pet's health, avoid this place at all costs.

I am deeply saddened and angered by my experience at this clinic. My cat, who had an open wound and was in obvious pain, was refused treatment simply because I was five minutes late. I understand that schedules are important, but I never expected such a lack of compassion from a place that is supposed to care for animals.
The refusal to help a suffering animal over such a minor delay is both shocking and heartbreaking. My cat needed immediate attention, and instead, we were turned away with no empathy or concern. This clinic clearly prioritizes rigid policies over the well-being of the pets they are supposed to care for.
I would never trust them with the care of any of my pets again. The coldness and lack of humanity I experienced here are unforgivable. Please think twice before bringing your beloved animals to a place where their health and comfort may be disregarded so easily.

I brought my cat Muffin and pupper Circe here and the staff was so kind and knowledgeable about their services. I felt comfortable. The appointment was quick the price for it was AMAZING. I would recommend them in future to my fellow pet parents. I was worried that Finn wouldn't do well because she's a mommas girl but the vet tech said she was amazing and didn't give her any issues. The vet loved our Circe because Circe gives hugs (she's very clingy to people she likes) definitely will be returning for more services from them. Thank you Banfield, for treating my fur children and me so kindly. You guys rock.

I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance and I am called today in the morning of my appointment saying they haven’t seen my pet here so they cancelled my appointment…I’ve been to Banfield in Vermont, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Maryland etc and I’ve never had someone cancel my appointment “due to not being see here by our doctors”…pretty sure that’s what I did-I made an appointment. Then the person on the phone was the rudest I’ve ever experienced. Why would you wait until the day you cancel, and had you not cut me off rudely saying I go to bel air when I’m trying to explain to you that I just moved and this is the closest Banfield to me. Great place, I’d rather drive 30 mins away instead of the 8 mins here. I’d give negative 10 stars if I could.
