Yes, you save money on your bill, but you are ripped off for anything else. Offer you insurance for broken glass, but fail to mention you have to completely delete all your data and send your phone back in to get a new one. And this new phone is not the same. Fighting to get everything fixed. Can't even get notifications on my screen. But they can't figure out why. At this point I'd rather deal with the cracked screen than this piece of xra, it is 100% not the same phone!and they never answer the phone!

This store is very deceptive. Added on protected that I did not want because I always buy my phone outright. Had trouble with boost customer service. Every agent told me a different thing. 3 weeks after, I get a text message from boost stating updates have been made to the account and to call if it wasn't them. They opened up a fraud ticket. Do not buy any boost mobile. It is painfully obvious this service is going out of business. No one can tell me anything.

Very deceptive, ignorant, and non-informed. I tried to claim the in-store discounted price on a new smartphone as an existing Boost customer for years! They totally fed me a string of lies and caused me immense aggravation. I now do not know what to do as a loyal Boost customer. The manager of the store was the ultimate non-customer oriented total poor excuse of anybody that should be in his position!

I encountered a rude, seemingly racist employee when I came in to get a new sim card, after it broke while inside my phone. He said it wasn’t possible to fix because of a system malfunction at the time, I’d have to re return. Then after he startled me with how insensitive he was, I ended up spilling several things from my purse and in the process of picking them up, he got belligerent with me over an insignificant mistake. Another employee was able to salvage the experience but neither of them were a help.

DO NOT VISIT THE 827 Taylor Ave location. The man who works there is extremely rude and had no clue what good customer service is.

I went up there for some help with an additional charge on my boost account and the man helping me (I can’t remember his name it started with an A…..06/06/24) was SO understanding and helpful! Even when I was getting frustrated from some miscommunication, he kept it SO professional! Great service!

Buyer beware. This Boost location inflates prices. Also, the phones that are advertised at discount prices, will not be in stock or the low priced phone will be much higher than the advertised price. Watch out! The salesperson at that store is only interested in squeezing as much money out of you, as he can get.

I love my phone, the customer service I received in the store was excellent.i wanted to leave a 5 star review and almost did until I check my account. I was told I couldn't get the $40, $50 plan only the $60. I understood, I was sign up for $50 and phone protection which I didn't ask for. It's sad because I didn't purchase on website because I wanted to put some money in the sales associate pocket. If he ask me to get phone protection to help his metrics then cancel it I would of so I deducted 2 stars

BOOST is Busted. I went to the boost store to upgrade my well needed phone. After selecting the phone and and paying , I was asked by the salesmen Dee if I received SNAP(a food stamp program) or state assistance with my medical. I am 61 and disabled & told him I receive state assistance with my medical. After he I guess verified it he told me I was entitled to a FREE TABLET. (Should have been my first red flag). The following day I get an email from my internet carrier (Comcast) has cancelled my Affordable Credit Program (a service that provides low/ income families a discount for their internet services) because I am receiving those services from another carrier. I was baffled. I never changed carriers. After unsuccessfully being able to get in touch with Comcast. I contacted The Affordable Credit Program they informed me that BOOST had not only put a number on my tablet and changed my carrier to them but they also without my authorization applied for my ACP credit to go to their carrier therefore cancelling out my discount for the internet I so desperately need to communicate. Yes, I was livid. I first called and asked them how could you have such deceiving business practices for profit at the risk of low-income families. I returned to the store, Dee was there, at first he tried to say it wasn't him that did it, it was the guy that was working with him that day and I told him no, it was you. It was just 2 days ago, and it was you. Then he tried to say that he informed me it was thru this ACP that I was getting this free tablet. Which I told him that was an outright lie because had he mentioned it I would have gladly told him I am receiving ACP with my internet service already. He then changed his answer to I forgot to ask you. So, I said to him , you completed a government document on my behalf without my authorization. He had no comment. I returned the tablet, Dee called ACP and cancelled it B Reason: Customer already has an ACP for her household. How many people have they scammed getting two bites of the apple. The ACP which they get credit for and then changing you to their carrier getting additional revenue. Please beware of such promotions , it's not a promotion it's fraud. I intent to send a letter to ACP, Consumer Complaints and the Better Business Bureau. I have no doubt this has happened to thousands of people not knowing why they lost their ACP credit for internet , I am seriously considering contacting an attorney to pursue a Class Act Suit against merchants such as boost that have abused a system designed to assist low income families for business profit. If this has happened to you take action. Boost is obviously under the impression that low-income mean low- intelligence but they will see that is definitely not the case, I will do EVERYTHING in my power to make sure Boost does not victimize anyone else. It will take 2 billing cycles to have my ACP credit applied back to my internet. I will be sending Boost the bill.

DO NOT GO TO LOCATION!!!I have been a Boost customer for 9 years and I'm done. Added another line for my dad on father's day and the guy who works on Saturday is a scam artist. He talked me into getting a new phone to get my dad's phone free. My bill was supposed to be $124. I confirmed this many times. He never told. ME that I will have to pay $139 for this new phone month on top of it..
