I love Madewell! I did the one-on-one styling with Carrie, and I loved every minute of it. She was patient, kind, and knowledgeable. She helped to find styles for me that I would not have tried myself. Loved my experience!

I am a Madewell loyalist. One of my fav stores but this location has the worst customer service possible. I have called corporate before and probably will again. I assumed it was possibly a discriminatory practice but after reading some reviews here, it appears to be general bad business and ignorant and incompetent staff, starting with store based management. I will not be made to feel uncomfortable when I enter a store to shop. People need to work with computers if they don't like human interaction...geesh!

Honestly I love the clothes here but the employees are so rude every single time. They will ask how your day is and then look you up and down and give each other glaces as if I’ve already said something to offend them. Me and my boyfriend make jokes about preparing ourselves mentally before going in because they are so nasty. It’s like girls who never matured past high school. Really, it’s Madewell. Grow up

It's great when staff is available if you want help it's even better here because they aren't nosy or ask about my service dog. Towson Madewell makes me want to shop!

Nikki at Madewell Towson was super patient, nice, friendly and kind. There was a problem with my return and her and her manager were very understanding, informative and incredibly nice. I appreciated their help.

I did not have a great experience at this store. My husband ordered a bag for me for Christmas and we elected to do in-store pickup. The bag was not tracked properly in Madewell's system and this created major issues for me when it came time to pick-up the bag. I never received any type of notification when it was ready for pick-up. I ended up calling a found out that the bag had been at the store since Christmas Eve. This information was contrary to what I received when I called on Christmas Eve. I also received a bit of pushback when I went to pick-up the bag. I was able to pick-up the bag on December 28th. From what I understand, the sales associates and managers were not able to locate any record of the bag and therefore had some difficulty releasing the bag to me. I provided the receipt and order number and they were able to finally give me the order. I was in a bit of a rush, and I was hoping that the store pick-up might have been bit more efficient.

Store is great and so is staff but they need to water those plants. I will update review to 5 if I see evidence they've watered then. Also there is no mens section which would be nice, they have it elsewhere.

They have more variety than the one in Tyson's corner which I visited one day before I went to Towson. However, the staffs were much less kind than the other place. Huge difference

I've always had a very pleasant experience in this store. It's a bit pricey, so since I am a college student and just like to save, I shop sales often. The employees have always been personable, helpful and just very nice all around. They notified me about the sales currently going on, and also adjusted the price when the price was wrong on one of the pieces. Also, the store is super cute and organized!

The staff don't seem to fully understand store policies. For example, I bought 2 bags and was told I could have them personalized by sending them to the company. I was given a number to call. When I called they claimed this was not possible and the store associate had lied. Their are signs all over the store instructing you to ask about personalization but the staff is apparently clueless.
