I visited this branch on June 21, 2025, around 10:30 a.m., and unfortunately had a disappointing and unpleasant experience. I came in with a simple request: to withdraw funds from my account since my debit card had been shut down due to fraudulent activity. Instead of being assisted respectfully, I was met with dismissive and unprofessional behavior that made me feel like a burden.
What stood out the most was the lack of clear communication. No one took the time to ask me clarifying questions — I was rushed, misunderstood, and treated as if I was doing something wrong. A teller, who mentioned she was still in training, seemed unsure, and Brandon, who came over to assist her, immediately asked, “What are you withdrawing the money for?” — a question I’ve never been asked when accessing my own funds. I had to repeat myself multiple times before receiving basic help.
The staff I encountered were consistently rude and lacked courtesy. Brandon eventually whispered a quiet “I’m sorry,” and I responded “okay” because I had no interest in arguing. I even apologized to the teller (a Black woman wearing twisted braids) who seemed frustrated and disengaged, but I reminded her that she actually owed me an apology — not the other way around.
The experience felt less like a bank visit and more like I was training the staff on how to speak to customers. Another employee (an Asian woman) was unnecessarily sharp in her tone, and the teller who assisted me referred to me as “that woman with the check” — when in fact I had only submitted a withdrawal form that she had handed me. Mistaking a form she gave me for a check was not only careless but added to the confusion.
I understand everyone has off days, but basic professionalism and clear communication should be standard in any banking environment. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve customer service and how people are treated moving forward.

The store is home to a bum who sleeps 5 feet away from the ATM in the drive through. Do not go to the ATM at night.

I tried to go inside this branch on a Saturday at 11:25 before they closed, and the door was locked. The teller inside behind the counter just stared at me with this nasty look, and the drive up teller lane wasn’t open. I don’t have an ATM card because I’m waiting on a new one. Really disappointed in M&T right now.

Sat in the waiting area with a senior for 30 mins before even acknowledged. I've never had this type of experience at an M&T Branch. Terrible customer service experience.

The entire parking lot is on a pretty steep slope it's hard to get into a spot as well as get out. Hope you don't have a manual car you'll never make it
