Worst experience ever with grooming for the first time,, I was told my dog was too hard to handle and he should have been groom since he was 8 weeks,, also was told my puppy is not considered a puppy after 2 months. They trimmed the nails and and around the feet and said that’s all they can do and he smelled good when I picked him up but he still had much hair and I paid 83 dollars basically for nothing in my opinion. I definitely would never go here again. Currently looking for professional groomers who can help

I made an appointment to have my dog’s ( Leo a Morkie) hair cut with shampoo and nail trim. I took him today and they butchered him. I asked for their longest length cut and they gave him a crew cut. It’s just the worst uneven with long hair around the head that is totally cut like it was done blindfolded.
I will never return to PetSmart again!
Find another place to take your dog.

I took my dog to get groomed. The dog came out wet, full of loose hair, and look like it was never brushed. I will not be going back to redeem my $2 off coupon.

Just wanted to leave a positive review about an interaction I had with the staff over the phone where they were able to resend some much-needed receipts! The staff member I spoke to was really friendly and took their time to make it as easy as possible for me.

Horrible customer service from this location, nasty attitude from the staff and they didn’t even have the courtesy to speak and ask me if I needed any assistance they don’t have a good selection of things and don’t show any concern at all for they’re paying customers. AVOID this location at all costs!!!!

Jenna is an absolutely disgraceful and disrespectful human being. Was trying to get assistance for a pickup and Jenna completely ignored me. And then proceeded to use a costumer to disrespect me as well by having the customer tell me to screw off.

Absolutely terrible service for scheduling grooming (cat). I was scheduled for 1:30 pm and they sent me an email to confirm it was for 1:30 pm on 7/11/2024. The day before the appointment they canceled 1:30 pm and said they would do it at 2:00 pm. I set this appointment up about a month ago; okay not a big deal to wait until 2:00 pm. They called and told me on the day of the appointment they can’t take my pet because my veterinarian prescribed medication to help my pet relax. Prior to this PetSmart appointment, PetSmart looked at the medication and wrote it down next to my pet’s name and said it is not a problem. Well turns out it is a problem. The PetSmart manager said “I am sorry the person making the appointment did not know.” I told them they need to train their people better. Getting with a groomer to take my pet will take about another month. I just adopted this pet not long ago and I wanted her to get familiar with being groomed. PetSmart had the opportunity to tell me about this policy from weeks to a month ago. ?

They do a good job grooming. My issue is being canceled due to someone calling out sick or not showing up to work. I got canceled 4 times at the Towson location. Looking for another groomer.

15 June. I visited the Putty Hill (Towson, MD location) to buy cat food. On display near the front door were 6 guinea pigs sitting in their own filth. I mentioned this to an employee (who was the manager as well?) and he replied that PetSmart was trying to help out a local humane society and I could volunteer--really? Does that get the cages cleaned?
I left, called the humane society and left a message (followed with a detailed email)--I then called the store and asked for a manager--got the same guy I just talked to. I let him know I would be back in one hour to see if the cages were cleaned. I returned in 1 hour and the cages were gone. My concern is that the guinea pigs were just hidden away.
There was absolutely no excuse for these animals to be left in that condition for any period of time. And the "managers" bland "you can volunteer" statement was unacceptable.
Do better PetSmart--animals left in your care are your responsibility, and you failed.
