This used to be such a nice little Starbucks, and one of my personal favorites because it’s the only one I had ever been to that had a Little Free Library! To my dismay they have since renovated it so that it’s even smaller and less welcoming to customers than the one inside of the mall. There are no tables or chairs, you can no longer access the restrooms, and the little free library I loved is long gone. They clearly want you to grab your drink and get out ASAP. If you want a place to drink coffee and relax now, this isn’t it. I recommend going over to The Bun Shop if you want to sit, relax, study or work while drinking your coffee. I doubt I will be visiting this Starbucks location ever again.

Robotic, unwelcoming, void of humanity, and not a warm place to enjoy a coffee. Refuse to ever come back.

This will be my last time at this place. I asked for a venti ice match latte with 2 pump of classic syrup. I always order this drink so I know its price is only $6.31.. the cashier said she did not have a venti cup so I said okay just ring me up for a grande cup. Even with the grande cup my drink came up to $6.80. So, I question that and asked her why.The cashier started to raise her voice at me and changed her attitude…This is a business so run like one.

Charged me $21 extra on mobile order, never got my money back. Contacted customer service about 6 times now.

It's been a while since I've visited this Starbucks, but I had some time to kill in the area and just wanted a nice hot coffee. Very disheartening to see that they have renovated this location to make it completely unwelcoming. The cafe with it's tables and chairs is gone, so I guess this location is take-out only? Also, no menu or display case. I guess you're just supposed to do everything on the app and just come in to pick up your drink and leave? No human interaction ...A very Orwell-esque turn for a company that popularized cafe culture in America, but I guess it's a sign of the times.

What kind of world do we live in where it’s a requirement to pick up a mobile order, where speaking to a real human about something you’re purchasing isn’t the norm. I profoundly do not believe in this set up of store. No place to sit and connect with people, something that the already soulless Towson needs more of. This kind of store contributes nothing to society, and for that, Starbucks should be ashamed.

Visited this location today, on a Saturday morning. Super busy to say the least. I'm actually still waiting for my order after 20mins and when I tell you I'm not the least bit bothered, I mean just that! There are at least 20 people in here at once (more considering the customers coming in from their cars to grab orders). I have never witnessed any batista/cashier maintain their poise, provide excellent customer service independently to over 20 people so smoothly, respectfully and as promptly as Lacy did. Lacy's customer service was so refreshing! Definitely set a positive tone to my day. I was delighted to remain patient and witness Lacy demonstrate such amazing customer service experiences to reach and every customer in the lobby. Lacy provided customers with a true experience and as someone who's really big on customer service, I genuinely appreciated my encounter today! Great selection of staff Starbucks! Honestly, the level of teamwork behind the scenes surely made it easier for Lacy to remain calm and confident while consistently providing customers with a top notch experience!P.S. I almost never do reviews so taking the time to do so while waiting truly speaks volumes.Oh...I ordered a Vt Caramel Frap, oatmilk, ex cruchies, extra caramel, double shot of blonde expresso and it was made to perfection!!! My daughter got a vanilla bean frappe and enjoyed hers as well.

I guess if you have no staff you don't have to worry about unionization. If you're going to go mobile order only you should at least have a kiosk in store. I'm not downloading your app as a prerequisite for ordering. But you probably just want to decrease people lingering in the store, given all these changes and the sterile unwelcoming lobby.

It took me 20 minutes to get one drink. When I got it it was made wrong , I asked for no whipped cream and got it I also asked for extra caramel there was barley any.On top of that my drink was barely blended as there were hice chunks in it. I did not ask for a refund as it would take as long on as getting my drink.Everyone makes mistakes but this was disappointing.

My daughter wanted a breakfast sandwich and a dragon fruit drink and that’s the ONLY reason I gave this place my money. We walked in on a Sunday afternoon, the pickup line was almost out the door. I started making my way to the counter to order when the manager yelled “do u have the Starbucks app” I said no, so she rolled her eyes as if I was getting on her nerves, then as my daughter was in the middle of ordering she yelled to the ppl behind me “do you have the Starbucks app” she didn’t even apologize for being rude, then she continued to take my daughter’s order while complaining about how they were short staffed and nobody cares??♀️ she made it very clear that she was frustrated and wanted to close the store but ppl kept taking the chairs down (whatever that means) a customer should never know you’re having a bad day, it was very off putting and I will not return. Maybe she needs to hire more staff or choose a different job, if you’re short staffed take it up with Starbucks and NOT THE CUSTOMER!

I love the staff at this Dulaney Valley Starbucks. They have always been the very best at customer service. This Dulaney Valley Starbucks gets you in and out quickly. Unfortunately you can't sit down and enjoy your coffee while working on that PhD thesis anymore.Dulaney Valley Starbucks is a get it and go location now. I can't take a star off for the new Dulaney Valley Starbucks Store take away format. The atmosphere is nice if almost clinically sterile.Dulaney Valley Starbucks food is NOT good unless you limit yourself to desert type items. Cake, doughnuts and buns are the best fare in any Starbucks including Dulaney Valley. Most of the food items taste like microwaved food flavored cardboard. Most of the condiments taste like mastic stone tile adhesive. On a good note Starbucks breakfast items are only slightly worse than McDonalds. Starbucks Pizza is a crime against your taste buds. The best use for Starbucks Pizza is to tile the inside of an leaking antimatter reactor. The coffee, tea and most specialty blends are most excellent. I love this Dulaney Valley Starbucks just not their food items.

I went in today and was expecting a pleasant visit, as it is Starbucks... I was wrong. My first interaction was great and with a girl named Kayla. She introduced herself and asked how my day was. I ordered a blonde vanilla latte and Kayla said I could change my milk options which i did. This is where i was taken back by the next act of customer service. There was a lady who was very obnoxious and called my name out with utter disgust. I proceed to ask if the drink was mine and she re read the drink with an attitude and then had the audacity to call me " Love". I just don't appreciate how some people work at a place that consistently has to talk to customers but does not do it with respect. At least my drink was made right. Don't come into this store expecting everyone to be happy.
