Avoid this pharmacy at all costs.
I had a valid prescription for Adderall sent in by my doctor after a recent appointment. I’ve been refilling this medication for the past four months at this same location using GoodRx and paying cash — because my out-of-state insurance doesn’t cover it. Never had a problem until now.
This time, the pharmacist and their assistant — both of whom sounded completely untrained and uninformed — insisted I couldn’t pick up my medication without insurance. I explained that I’ve been paying out-of-pocket, using a discount card, and that this is entirely legal and standard practice. They told me that past fills were done as a “one-time courtesy,” which is flat-out false.
When I asked for an explanation, they simply repeated “rules are rules” and refused to engage in a reasonable conversation. They even hung up on me twice. I called my doctor, and she confirmed they were absolutely wrong and even called the pharmacy herself. Yet, the pharmacist continued to argue and block the fill — even with a current, valid prescription and a doctor verifying it.
This experience felt shady and incompetent. I’ve since transferred the prescription to another pharmacy with no issue at all. My advice? Steer clear of this place. They’re uneducated on basic pharmacy procedure, unprofessional in their communication, and clearly not equipped to handle controlled substances or customer service.
Thank God for iPhone recordings — the world deserves to hear how absurd and unqualified these people are.

The pharmacy has an awful time handling prescriptions in a reasonable amount of time. Combine this with their abysmal pharmacy hours (only open 10:00am to 6:00pm for some incredible reason) and you'll find yourself having to revisit the location multiple times to fill a single prescription. Unless your insurance ONLY takes Walgreens I would recommend literally any other place

Austin at front desk was extremely impolite and excessively aggressive. He purosely slows the service. Please retrain him or you will be hearing a lot of other complaints.

Wow! What a great staff… Came into the store in a panic because the pharmacy was closed and they were right on it helping us. So wonderful to have friendly, helpful staff 😊

Bestman and Elon in pharmacy so amazing. Very friendly and always smiling willing to help which I have found rare at other locations and drug store across street.

I received absolutely incredible customer service at this location for my passport photo. Two amazing employees, Mia and Christian, went out of their way to make sure my picture looked great. I will be returning here for my future photo needs.

Aggressively nasty staff. They lost my digital passport photo and wanted to charge me again until I called national customer service. Even after CS instructed them to provide another photo they refused to supply a photo that was compliant according to their own photo software. Then they said my request to get a photo the State Dept would accept was “ridiculous”. Just really mean people.

Pharmacy closes too early cvs has a 24hr pharmacy right across the street but my insurance does not accept there anymore sadly this places closes at 6pm I work everyday and don’t get off till 530pm like how am I ever supposed to get my medicine one day they should be open a hour later this not right smh

PISS POOR I called on a Wednesday to see if my medication was ready and if it was okay to pick it up today ( Friday) I was told YES , just to get there and say there was nothing there for me because I waited to late to pick it up and that one of my medications needed to be pre-authorized! I was not told that when I was on the phone with the technician when I called TWO days prior!!!!! They are not professional, I HATE this location..... I will be doing my business at the York Rd and Walker location from this point on. This location is sorry and need to be shutdown oh and get rid of the computer system when you're calling. I want to talk to a person and not a computer ! Just dumb

Abimbola Owolabi is rude and unprofessional. He ask questions but doesn’t allow you to answer them because he cuts you off before you can answer it. I can’t believe the level of disrespect he gives being in a customer service oriented field.
Update Abimbola called me after I placed the complaint with corporate and my review online and apologized. He then offered to get the meds to my son which I appreciated. I have increased my star rating from 1 to 3 given the encounters my son had as well as myself with Walgreens and Abimbola.

Mia was exceptional at customer service, handling many roles. Ringing up customer purchases. Working the parcel service and photos whilst also assisting customers on the floor. Myself and other customers were very impressed and enjoyed this shopping experience.
