“I do love this store BUT I was made to feel awkward by a cashier recently, she believed I was paying her with fake money, completely unfair to me as it is U.S. currency, she did not have a pen to test it nor a money counter to stick it in, she did have some sort of light that works for new currency but not old currency.. I knew the bill was real as I work with money for a living and tend to collect old bills. Shame on the company for not having something so simple to avoid making your customers feel like a problem guest.”

“A few years ago, I purchased a beautiful mink double breasted coat. It has been a treasured item in my closet to be wore on those cold windy and wet winter days. I wore it once on a very rainy day in Alexandria Virginia and was I surprised the coat was the perfect choice for that particular occasion. It was pouring rain, a bit slushy and damp. When I returned home, my beautiful mink was soaked... I shook it out , put it on the back of a chair and hoped it would be in better shape once dried!!! It was perfect, luscious and shiny and ready to be wore in the worse of winter weather. I highly recommend Gartenhaus for all you fur needs. They also tailored the coat to my request and I absolutely love it!”

“04/01/2025-I have not been inside Marshall’s since Covid 2019. I dropped in to browse the aisles and unwind, looking shoes, a ? dress or outfit to perform in, and pants for office wear! I found the same trendy clothing and styles in Marshall’s to reflect the same merchandise inventory to match Burlington’s! Now I did notice that the prices at Burlington were a little bit more affordable for my pockets. * Same style dresses and all. I enjoyed my browse! I ended up buying a pair of light blue rewash, classic rise A Line blue jeans! *$19.99 and some herbal teas! I am excited! I enjoyed myself-browsing! I had fun, a good wholesome fashion experience!”

“The only reason I can think of for why there are so few reviews is that the (many) people I saw at this establishment don't want word to get out. My son asked for a custom Ankara print suit for prom. He chose his fabric but did not decide on pattern placement. The owner is very kind and made sure to explain and ask questions to understand what he wanted. In 5 weeks, we picked up his beautifully sown suit. The fit is perfect. The way the pattern is used is perfect. He is so happy and I am too that the price was in my budget.”

“Was in the area so I decided to stop here as I know that they have a MAC counter present. I don’t quite remember the young lady’s name who assisted me but I do know that she knew her stuff. I went in looking for Ruby Woo(if you know, you know as this is an oldie but goodie lipstick). I tried it on and did not like it whatsoever. I was then offered the smooth version and still did not like it. The lady helping me asked if I was willing to try one of her favorites and I instantly fell in LOVEEEEEEEEE. It’s red, vibrant and beyond what I imagined. Let’s not forget that it’s a Matte lippie too. Thank you soooo much for assisting me in finding what I was looking for in record breaking time. ?”

“Now any retail store can be let's just say interesting-you go to Macys in VA and the stores are just different -more selection and the list goes on and on -Macys in a "urban" area well you know they do us different-yup I said it ---But here's why the stars ---It's all for the STAFF...yes .....the pick up desk for packages team, the perfume and cosmetics team, the shoe team and my absolute fav ...the Last Stop Shop team . Many regulars go to this store for package pickup so we're not taken by the porch pirates and I often run into some of the same faces it's funny how we recognize each other ..,we need to form a shoppers club and probably need an intervention lol --but back to the point -I noticed the pick up desk staff recognizing some of the frequent customers greeting them by name -chatting being funny and caring in particular to our elders ---Community, caring, customer service all in one ---so 5 stars for the Macys staff that know me by face and name when I pick up my sale price shoes and my $11 Karen Fleece tops -I appreciate you :) Macys should hopefully one day read this and give y'all a bonus .....holla at me when the holiday moose popcorn goes on clearance also ...smile”
