I went through the entire process to be placed in a job position that needed more workers; There was even a massive job fair in which I attended (did testing, interview etc) after I completed all the necessary steps I was then qualified for the position. After keeping in contact with Ms. Shikira Banks about the next steps for me to work she simply stopped answering my phone calls and did not respond to my emails. I then went to the facility to ask Ms. Banks for further information about who to contact about placement. She told me that someone would call me soon and that they haven’t found a placement for me as of yet. About 15-20mins after leaving the facility and having this conversation with Ms. Shikira Banks, I got and email stating that they no longer wanted to proceed with my application for the job position that I applied for. I found it ironic that I received this email after I physically went to pay Ms. Banks a visit regarding the next steps to me working. Applying to the Arc was a long process and they lead with the idea that they needed more workers to fill positions. Plus every time I visited the facility there would be other people in the waiting area complaining about the their services and how it sucked. I do not recommend association with the Arc of Prince George’s, I deem them completely unprofessional.

Everyone here was very nice and professional and organized. The bathrooms were recently updated and look good and were clean. The building was also clean.

Got my booster! Just checking schedule and just GO! Fill out forms when you get there, take COVID Vaccinations card and ID. We'll organized. Kudos to the ARC, located in the PGCounty office areas on McCormick in Latgo.

Yeah, I love this place. Pleasant, professional environment that does amazing work for the community by finding a place for people with intellectual disability, to be one with the community.

Hello I went there for an interview when I was there I did not receive a greeting at the front door. I stood there for 20 seconds waiting for a hi hello how can we help you? Once I said hello the person that was supposed to be at the front desk asked what am I here for? Also two days before scheduling this interview the person did NOT inform I’ll be taking a test before i could get an interview.. I’m frustrated since I drove 30 mins and didn’t even get the chance to be interviewed.. then the lady who gave me the test did not inform me on what score I needed to receive in order to get an interview.. in my opinion.. that test should be apart of the application that way people will not drive all the way over there to NOT get interviewed. I am disappointed since I believe this company is as a best fit for me. However, the way things went I don’t believe it anymore.

I would Just like to start out by saying, DO NOT WORK IN THIS COMPANY. My personal experience here was bad but I’m not even here to talk about that. I’m here to talk about the fact that an employee of The Arc gave THIRTY YEARS of her life to this company and they did not so much as ACKNOWLEDGE her passing away. Rob, if you can see this, I’m so disappointed in the way you all have treated the passing of one your most loyal and hardworking staffs. And I’m very much sure you know who I’m talking about. She gave HER LIFE to these clients and you not only did not attend or help with any funeral arrangements, you did not even announce it. To everyone who turned the other way, the same will happen to you in your death.

It's ridiculously impossible to get anyone on the phone at this place and it's so unprofessional. On 11/20/19, I missed a call regarding a job I applied for. I was so excited to hear back! I returned the call as soon as I could on that same day. I have tried every week for a month since then to get in touch with the Arc of PG. I left multiple voicemails on multiple extensions and also, followed up with an email. Still, no one has bothered to call me back or speak with me beside a secretary who only rerouted my call to yet another machine after my third week of calling. The worst part of it is the job (and many more) are still listed on their website as vacant. This experience has been truly disheartening and so disappointing. The least someone can do after they play with you like this is send an email telling you they are no longer interested in (potentially) hiring you.

I really enjoy working there. The work is challenging, two days are never the same, and the people there are fun to work with.
