My cat was only taken there for cremation, but the staff treated me like she and I had been coming there for years. I only wish I had been bringing her to these folks all along. They were very sensitive when I brought Cassi in and they were just as caring and friendly when they called me telling me she was back and ready to come home. Thank you!

Staff loves and are affection to the dogs. Appointments are kept and timely. Doctor is available and welcoming although quiet. Ur.bill is explained before procedures or shots. No overselling. I love the non- hurried aspect and quietness. No big rush to move it along.

This visit was my first experience with a vet. I couldn't imagine anyone providing better service. I was able to get an appointment the same day I called. Everyone - staff, techs, and doctor was super nice and patient. I read reviews about other providers having various restrictions about staying with your pet, etc. I experienced none of that. In terms of pricing, we have no previous experience to compare it to, and we did not seek pricing info from other businesses. I would definitely recommend this business for your pet needs.

Update: The response below is false except the doctor did call and apologized. It was an emergency because he needs his shot every 7 days. BUT I given less than an hour window to come. No flexibility for your error. I found a vet who understood the importance and was open Sunday and saw him. Do not assume. Another tip do not judge a clients actions. I wish the same amount of time spent on asking me to remove the review (by email and phone) and writing a lengthy rebuttal was spent on your staff listening. Also, note Prince had Cancer twice over 2.5 years and no one called to check on him. FYI his new vet does.Today I called asking about someone administering my cat his B12 shot. I was told on Monday that all I had to do was call and ensure it was not busy and someone would give Prince his medicine. I was also told that the office usually does not do this but will for a $30 fee. As I was told, I called today at 12:30. I spoke to Angela who stated now Prince needs an appointment. I told her this was not stated on Monday and the oncologist stated he needs his medicine each week. I asked are you stating you will allow Prince to miss his dose of medicine. Angela stated yes, he needs an appointment. I also told her he had a full check up at his oncologist and internal doctor within the last month and she could call for records. She stated he needs a check up here. You would think knowing his health status was important not making money. Guess not. So now due to miscommunication my cat is not getting his medicine. I have to scramble to find a new vet. Angela and the teams total lack of concern for Prince is troubling. I have no problem making an appointment. I would have made it on Monday, but he needs his medicine today. They just lost a client. I need a doctor's office who provides appropriate information the first time, listens and shows concern. This is unacceptable. Find another location.

I moved to MD last July and found this amazing veterinary hospital on Google. I read the reviews and took a chance. I had a 5 month old puppy with stomach issues and I needed help immediately. Dr Mesfin and staff were amazing. They explained everything well and took great care of my pup. I’ve had various visits over this year and each time the staff was professional and compassionate. I’m so blessed to have found them and would definitely recommend.

From the receptionist, technician, doctor, and support staff, everyone was professional, caring, and great to experience. My pets and I were all well taken care of. I highly recommend this veterinary facility.

Dr. Mesfin and team are wonderful. They’ve been treating our cats since we moved to the area in 2019. They’re always compassionate with our cats and clear about diagnostics and costs. After visits, they consistently follow up and are quick to respond to any questions left on voicemail or email. I’d like to give special shout out to Missy during our latest visit for her compassion and thoroughness. It was our first time working with her and she is a great addition to the team!

We enjoyed our 1st visit! The Vet tech JB and the Dr. were very pleasant, knowledgeable, and thorough. The front desk office staff were welcoming and friendly.

Last week I took my very ill Yorkie Bandit to this hospital. Sadly I he was put to sleep. I am still very much heartbroken. But the service and comfort Bandit and I received from Dr. Mezdin and Missy is beyond commendable. They gave all the time in needed during every step before , during and after. It was never a money game it was always what was best and what I wanted. My normal very fiesta baby didn’t like strangers, but he had no problem with Mr Mezdin. I actually preferred waiting outside not having to mix or walk pass other pets. Bandit was my one and only pet to like and love.

We always have a wonderful experience at Upper Marlboro Veterinarian Hospital. The whole staff really cares for our dog and seem to really take pride caring thier jobs. We appreciate the professionalism, the customer service, and automated reminders of all upcoming services.

Love Dr. Mesfin and the staff. The practice is very professional and friendly. I can always call with questions and concerns and know that I will get a thorough response regarding the care of my pet. And speaking of my pet, Andi, she is very happy when she visits which is a good sign of the affectionate care of the practice.
