“If you've seen my latest check-ins and reviews, you know two things:1. I'm visiting Frederick, Maryland (where I lived from 1993-1998).2. I've been in the gym every day this month (October), sans Sundays.That being said......Weis was always my pit stop on the way to work for one thing: DONUUUUUUUUUTS!!!!I really don't have much to say about the store as a grocery store because it's pretty much what you would expect.But those DONUUUUUUUUTS!!! Lord save me...These are the best donuts I've ever had at a grocery store.Which is why I brought up Point #2. It's the last place I should be if I'm trying to lose weight. Hey, don't judge me. Mind your own bathroom scale.The assortment is great and they are ridiculously flavorful. Soft. Flaky. Huge.I could eat them all day! Which is why I'm going to be in that gym every day in November.Go to Weis, preferrably in the morning.Why?DONUUUUUUUUTS!!Enough said, I have another one to eat...”

“Just moved to Urbana and was so pleased to find an independent pharmacist . I have been to the pharmacy 3 times .
Everything was easily processed and quickly . You speak directly with the pharmacist so you get knowledgable, documented information None of the hassles encountered at places like CVS.”

“Giving this a 5 star review for two reasons. First, the attendants here are always friendly and able to help if you're having trouble with you pump. Second, you can now use the Sam's club app to pay for gas. No longer need to always have your membership card with you. To pay in the app you click more, then select Fuel. This will allow you to scan the QR code on the gas pump and pay with whatever card is linked to your Sam's Club app. If you don't want to pay with the card on file you can of course opt out and scan a different credit card at the pump.If you're like me and hate carrying around tons of different credit and membership cards, try the app, it makes fueling up at the club way easier!”

“I like this store and its employees. Have shopped this store since it was built. Sometimes the store does not have an item, but that happens everywhere. Must be mindful to check expiration dates. Have found items on shelves and in refrigerated cases that were beyond expiration.Starting 1/1/24 Frederick City government has banned the use of plastic bags, so, you can either bring your own or purchase paper bags for 10 cents each which we planned to do. This ordinance passed in the spring of 2023 for a 2024 start date.Today (1/2/24) we shopped for our weekly groceries and when we got to the register the cashier asked if we brought bags from home. We did not. She informed us the store had no paper bags. We had to buy cloth bags at $1.00 each. If we had a few items we would have carried them out but we had a cart full.I certainly hope that by next week this store has an abundance of paper bags. I don’t want to be forced to go outside of the city limits to shop.This new ordinance was well advertised. What happened?”

“Chris and Jonathan from curbside pick up are the BEST! Their friendly smiles, attention to detail, assistance loading and keeping everything organized and nice, truly unmatchable. My orders are huge, multiple carts, and often very difficult to fit into the vehicle and they never mind offering extra time to help. Keep up the great work guys!”

“I have been coming here for years, and sometimes I do experience rude customer service but Cassidy is absolutely amazing. She is the reason I come to this location. She always greets you with a smile and provides kind, professional, and welcoming service. I have an injured elbow and in a lot of pain and she was very patient and helped answer all of my questions. I did not feel rushed and am very grateful for the time she took to explain everything. With my elbow being out of commission, I am not able to do simple things like brush my hair, and of course for us ladies it’s important to have our hair looking nice. When I went to pick up my medication, I asked if she could help me brush and tie me crazy hair, and she was more than happy to offer to help with a smile. She is absolutely the best. She is no doubt the best and kind and helpful, and Giant is lucky to have her. Thank you for years of kindness and helping me with all my questions with patience and kindness.”

“I've been shopping here since birth and I have some great memories of going here with my friends and family. The selection of items is incredible for a smaller grocery store and always fresh. The staff at the pharmacy, deli, and fish counter are also very friendly and helpful. The checkout experience post-covid though is a genuine hindrance. I honestly do not know how many customers want to check out and bag an entire load of groceries, especially in a store that serves a community of busy families with young children or elderly adults living alone. I think its great that weis is still hiring local teenagers to work around the store, but now they just stand next to the 15 or so self-checkout machines and fix them when necessary. Weis's new hours are also less convenient, I remember when it was open 24 hours. I definitely will keep shopping here but the changes made over the past 4 years do not serve its loyal shoppers”

There were alot of complications by the doctor, luckily Adam saved the day, made everything easy, accessible for me to obtain my prescription. As a heads up for people, they are predominantly a Dermatology prescription Pharmacy and do not carry ADHD medication. “When I went into Weis I was looking for something quick and easy to make for my sister to snack on after a flight. I asked an employee, Sharon , if Weis had gluten free pastry dough or gf croissants. She may have been the nicest employee I’ve ever come across in a Weis. In any grocery store for that matter. She took time to to go look with me. Spoke to the frozen food guy. Walked me to the gf section and asked the grocery manager. Unfortunately day didn’t have it. But in all honesty at that point I don’t really care because she really took the time to help me look for something that I needed. She didn’t come across like I was a bother or it was too much to help me. I really want to thank her for being so kind and so nice. I wish there was more employees like Sharon.”

“Been using since they opened in '94. For a neighborhood store, they have a decent deli and seafood departments. Vegetables are decent. Seen better prices and bakery goods at Food Lion, down the street. Overall, if you want to locate higher-end products, go for it. Hope you Have a Healthy New Year!!”

“I want to extend many thanks and pleasantries to the CVS Pharmacist staff, namely Gardi Joshi and Armineh. I was dealing with a dire situation with as my previous pharmacy was no longer going to be handling certain medications. After visiting a few local pharmacy’s, and being very frustrated, visited the Gosnell Farm location in Clarksburg, Md. I spoke with Pharmacist Gardi Joshi and Armineh and explained my situation along with the medications that I am currently taking. Part of my medications were the result of a workplace injury and through Workmen’s Compensation. After presenting my situation, and a few misunderstood issues, we managed to work out a solution. They both went above and beyond their busy work days to make and receive phone calls for approvals. Being overly frustrated at the approval Workmen’s Compensation insurance approval process, I was in the verge of giving up, but these two CVS staff members worked with me through the process and those particular medications were approved. I decided to switch all of my medications to this location simply because of the two very friendly staff members. I have the opportunity to watch them work as I am picking up my medications and they are alway very busy, yet friendly and knowledgeable. They both, along with the other pharmacy staff should be recognized and greatly rewarded for them going above the norm to try to satisfy every single customer. Thank you guys”

“Masters Speciality Pharmacy so far is wonderful. Although I've only been a patient for bout 3 months they r great. I decided to get All my medications put in PILL PACKS. Masters was the only place I could find to do it. Now all my medications come broken down into 3 pill packs I open 1 for morning n 2 for the evening n I no longer have to deal with all those pill bottles n getting confused bout my medications n the ease of just opening a peel off sticker swallow my medication with some water I done. No hassle. No bottles. So easy. I wish they'd have thought of this sooner! Thank u Masters! Oh it free too no charge for them to do it!”
