everyone that I've dealt with here has been amazing. I just recently moved back to Maryland, and I must say the people here are much better than the banfield I was taking them to in utah. it's refreshing to be greeted by people who genuinely enjoy the work they do!

Caring, careful, friendly, professional groomers. Cat was comfortable and so were the dogs being serviced.

Everyone here is great! I had questions about the wellness plans and it was explained really well and they answered all my questions. They take good care of my puppy every time!

First, Wellness plans are not insurance. At almost $480 per year for a large dog that will give the dog two comprehensive appointments a year with basic vaccination. Heart worm, flee & tick treatments are extra. Claiming you get a small discount on meds; they seem to have high mark ups. I have a Lab and he will be 13 in Oct. plan renews in sept. I now have to remove him from the plan or pay for the full year, which he's my fourth Lab I owned, and they all get put down between 12 to 13 and a couple of months. So now when I may need more services it's like I don't have a vet. A dog starts to go downhill fast at this point. Each week he lives it's like he ages a couple of months. My last Lab I was visiting my father when I had to put him down in a different state, with the nearest Banfield over 50 miles away. They are not in every PetsMart, so I found a very good pet hospital that was able to put the dog down at a cost that was less then Banfield's. something to think about. This Lab, when he was young and ate a rock that caused a blockage Banfield had me go to the emergency pet hospital. So, they can't do all surgeries, when my friend's dog did the same thing her regular vet took care of everything. I used Banfield for over 20 years and have another Labrador and she five years old is on the Wellness plan that will renew in Dec, since I won't be using Banfield to put my 13 yr., old boy down. I may take my girl off the plan and have her go to the new vet I have to find for my old guy. I have a feeling it's not going to be and maybe less than the Wellness Plan for Daisy the 5year old. Banfield change after Covid. During Covid they came to the car to get the dog and I waited in the car until they were done and took the payment at the car for the extras, always ear infections with dogs that have hanging ears and always leaving with meds. and special ear cleaner. Before Covid they did all shots and exams in the little rooms they had. So, I could ask questions of concerns with the vet. Now I get put in the room with Daisy and an assistance comes in and takes the dog to the back and I wait in the room until the dog is brought back, so I don't see what is done. My dogs never had a problem being taken out of the room with me, but I have seen other dogs that hard time leaving the room without the owners. I like it better when the Dr. came into the room. I would say try Banfield your location could be better, and they see the dog with you but think about the Wellness plan or do you want to get insurance. My daughter's vet comes to her house, and she doesn't pay much more than the wellness plan, and she live in a much higher cost state than I. In eight years or so I don't want to be going through the same with Daisy and having to take her off the wellness plan and have her get more personal service seeing the same Dr. than different one at Banfield, I think Banfield needs to come up with a plan month to month for old dogs that will be going to Rainbow bridge since it's a tough time for both pet owners and the pet. If you haven't heard of Rainbow Bridge, google it.

Where do I begin... You will NEVER get anyone to answer the phones and this goes for BOTH Banfields in Waldorf! I have been calling for WEEKS, sitting on the phone each time up to 11 minutes pressing the 0 button to try and speak to someone at BOTH WALDORF BANFIELDS before I eventually get hung up on! Yet, my insurance goes up annually for my both of my dogs while the quality of care CONSTANTLY continues to get WORSE! You cannot get an appointment for your pets which leaves me wondering what I pay over $140 a month for?? I have complained about additional issues directly with them in the past but things have only gotten worse here! Wait times are absolutely ridiculous, my husband was there almost five hours for a comprehensive appointment and then I got called with him sitting right there in the room?! The dewormer was sent home for us to give and we still had to return because even after all those hours her blood work was not done.. Trust me when I say I could go on and on about the issues we have had here from certain Veterinarians being "scared" to see our male rescue GSD to just plain lack of care about your pets or the customer. I have reached out to Corporate and will also reach out to the Client Advocate because at this point we have no other choice but drive to Largo or Alexandria until we can find better comprehensive insurance options for our two dogs.

Over charge and they didn't make my fur-baby feel very welcome. He was taken to the back for his vaccine's and he got anxious to the point they had to put a muzzle. I asked to have him back in the room so he could calm down and they kept him in the back. Staff was polite, but I didn't appreciate them not being more understanding.

This place is an embarrassment I was calling to let the staff know I was 2 mins out and when I arrived, I was watching the front desk hang up on me with no rush in line. They never seem to answer the phone. This location has probably the worst Banfield staff in the area. They have messed up my dogs' appointments giving him the wrong initial shots. No apology either. In any medical field that is a big no no.

I brought my dog in for a 3:45pm appt. My first interaction upon entering the new office was pleasant. They immediately updated my information, weighed my dog, and within 20 mins. I was asked to have a seat while they took my dog back to see the vet. I sat inside for approximately 1 hr before going to sit in my car. At 6:14 pm I received a phone call with an irate employee repremanding me about abandoning my dog. He claimed that they had been calling me for 4 to 5 hours (his words) and that he'd made several calls since 2 pm to pick up my dog. However, my dog didn't get taken back until after 4pm. When I walked back in to get my dog, the employee Michael began yelling at me and I ended up matching his tone. I showed the staff my phone logs and no where did I receive a text or call like he claimed. Another staff member came out to diffuse the situation although another staff member present who checked me in stayed quiet. When asked if I was in the store, she responded yes. The Chief of Staff came out to then explain to me how I was wrong for not communicating with them since I had not received communication from them. My response was that I was not going to be gaslit by her when her employee lied and was disrespectful. I absolutely will NOT give Bandield another penny! Customers spend their money to keep business going. How you treat people and make them feel is long lasting. I will not recommend Banfield nor will I use their services ever again.

My sweet Isabella just crossed the rainbow bridge 1/30/2023. I just wanted to thank the entire staff, and( Dr. Edwards )for the care that was given to my baby for 15 years.
