Workers are ignorant and incompetent. The guy pushing 30 carts literally ran into us. Store is trashy and poorly ran. All the garbage reviews on this location do not even do it justice for how trash this place is.

I should have known better to go to this location. Had an online order placed and had a pickup time scheduled. Pull in and try to call to let them know what pickup spot I am in. You can not reach anyone for this by calling the club, so then had to go through the app. Do that and wait 20 minutes before even seeing an associate come out. The person walked around aimlessly and I saw he had my small amount of groceries on his cart. As I tried to get his attention he went back in with the groceries. Saw where they charged and said my groceries had been delivered even as that had not happened. I left and put in a dispute on the card. If you are a crap store such as Waldorf, that is reality. Don't even offer the same services as other clubs to make up for this. I would rather a company not even try than to offer a service they can not support.

I went to this BJ's in Waldorf on May 3rd, 2023. I went to the deli department to purchase items and it was dark. I'm standing there looking around when the lady that was handing out samples came up to me and said the deli department was at lunch, this was at 1:35 pm. I went to the front and asked an associate to speak with a manager about this. She called the manager on a walkie talkie and the manager said they would be open in approximately 15 minutes. (The manager didn't have the decency to address the question her self). This was so ridiculous, by now at 2:20 pm, the deli department still hadn't opened and people were milling around trying to figure out what was going on. Long story short, I got tired of waiting and left. This should not have happened!

The only reason I ever went to this location was its convenience. After my interaction with a staff member today, I'm 100% letting my membership expire and never coming back. Upon entering today (Tuesday 21 Feb. 2023), I noticed they had those alarm things at the entrance/exit that go off if you try to leave with an item without paying for them (I forget what these things are called) and figured they were no longer checking receipts. This is not true but that's on me. Upon leaving got flagged down by an employee to check my receipt because I had incorrectly assumed they were no longer doing so. Instead of simply just telling me they needed to check my receipt this employee proceeded to rip my receipt outta my hand and proceed to talk down to me like I'm a child who doesn't know better in saying "don't EVER do that again". If I hadn't just been talked down to in such a way after having my receipt being ripped outta my hands, I'd be more than happy to have a conversation with this employee. Speaking to customers in such a way is unacceptable and is 100% not the way to talk to people. I will certainly never be coming back to this location or to BJ's as a whole

I just left your Waldorf store. Not having a cashier there to check people out is one way to say to a handicap customer you are not welcome nurse store. Giving the customer the excuse somebody called out is not acceptable

Mr. Farhad Safi has excellent customer service skills. My son and I have been visiting the optical department in Waldorf since last year.Farhad has provided exceptional service to us for the past year. Always friendly, knowledgeable and professional he ensures we get the best eyeglasses and contact lens at the best prices. He always takes the time to speak when we stop in the store. I am not only inpressed with his outstanding customer care., but how great he is at his job! He called my son to let him know about the promotion for contacts because he remembered our conversation. Outstanding Job Farhad! You are greatly appreciated!

Me Safi has provided exceptional service to us for the past several years! Always friendly, knowledgeable and professional he ensures we get the best eyeglasses at the best prices. He always takes the time to check out our glasses when we stop in the store, he cleans and makes adjustments to our existing glasses and makes recommendations for us. Great job Safi!

NEW COMPANY RUNNING BJS OPTICAL. THEY STINK! I've been a BJs member for many years and have gotten several pairs of glasses through BJs Optical in Waldorf, MD without any problems. My most recent experience with them was terrible. When I called in to ask about pricing I was told by a man called Safi that BJs Optical was now run by a new company and that I was going to love the prices. Over the phone he gave me prices for various options of progressive lenses and told me there was also a 33% discount on top of that.When I went in to pick out frames Safi was there. He gave me the same prices as over the phone but now told me those prices included the 33% discount. I didn't like that, but went ahead. As we discussed various options for quality of lens and options, the prices and features seemed to change from minute to minute. One minute a price included a certain option, and then when I was interested in it, the price no longer included that option. He said I was misremembering. I wasn't.I did not feel good about the process, but I went ahead and ordered glasses because I had found frames I liked and have always had a good experience with BJs Optical before.Ten days later, I went in to pick up my glasses and was very disappointed. The reflections on the lenses from lights in the store were terrible, annoying little flares and ghosts floating in front of my eyes. When I complained, Safi said maybe I should have gotten the anti-reflective coating. I showed him my current glasses - from BJs Optical a few years ago, which don't have the anti-reflective coating either. They have no annoying reflections. I've never gotten the coating before on a pair of glasses and never had a problem. It was clear to me that these lenses were of inferior quality. I asked for my money back. Only when I started to get really angry, did Safi call the manager and refund my money.I went right to another optician and ordered glasses from them. I won't be going back to BJs Optical any time soon, and I feel like my BJs membership is now less valuable than it was before.

They really know how to make you feel comfortable and at home. Prices are incredible, and quality is great!!! Love my HD Progressives!
