Made an appointment several weeks ago since my Jeep was having a stutter when I would be driving it. Spoke to several people ahead of time and was told that it could be a dirty fuel injector. Dropped my vehicle off at the appointment time. I was asked if I planned to wait. I asked if they had a shuttle service. I was told, Yes, however the shuttle is several hours away and would not be back until after noon time. It was 9:00 am. I waited a bit and asked how long did they think it would take to get to my car since I noticed an hour and half later it was still sitting in the same spot and they had acted as if me taking the shuttle would not be necessary since I had made an appointment and it may not take too long. 11:00 rolls around and the waiting room is packed. People complaining that they were here and the work did not get completed so they had to come back. I took the entire day off of work to make sure my car gets fixed due to my concern of having it just stall on me. I let Kenny know I was having someone pick me up and to please call when my car was completed. He said I was dealing w/Jarvis so he would be calling me. I had not heard anything by 4:00 so I called Jarvis. The call was a horrible call as he seemed infuriated when he answered. I asked about my Jeep after several minutes of me explaining my Jeep, etc. he said "we had not finished the work from the previous day, we will not be getting to your car today." I asked why I wouldn't have been told this when I was there at 9:00. He said I wasn't there to tell you. After going back and forth of explaining that I took an entire day off of work to get this completed. He said I don't know what to tell you, hopefully we get to it tomorrow. I told him I would expect a little better organization tomorrow and if I could get a call. He asked when would you like the call? Strange question to ask a customer. My response was- when you know what's wrong with it and can give me a diagnostic... The next day rolls around and I call at noon since I had not heard anything. Again, a complete run around on how they have not had any time. Jarvis would call me later. 4:00 came and he said "we drove it and cannot find anything wrong with it." Strange since it happens to both my husband and myself. Again, shuttle is in Baltimore and cannot give me a ride. Let him know I would not be able to get a ride there until later tonight and could he leave the keys with the dealership. He said "Sure and you will need to pay $149.95." They have had my car for two days, I have called more than 20 times to get updates, and now I am being charged and they say nothing is wrong. I arrive and pay. I get not even a block down the road and I have the same stutter. Basically they had my car for two days, extremely rude, I was charged for them to do nothing and the same problem it was taken to Jeep for still exist. This is ridiculous. I would steer clear of this place. Horrible customer service!!

Car was shaking when it reached a specific speed. They told me I needed to have the tires balanced. I paid to have that done left the car lot and within a 1/4 mile it was shaking again. Took it back and they said it had 4 bent rims and it would be $1600 to replace them. I didn't think that was right so took it to a tire shop. The engine was misfiring so they did a tune up and the problem is solved. I called the service manager at Darcars and he said I was crazy and there is no way this happened. I asked for the $150 diagnostic fee back and he told me there was no way. Be careful when dealing with the service department.

Make sure to get written quotes. Kenny gave me a verbal quote of 2300 dollars for a repair, 1900 dollar part, 400 labor. Went to pick it up, lo and behold, an extra 600 bucks in labor magically tacked on. "Well that's what I wrote down here."Absolutely my fault for not getting a written quote, but total dishonesty. Insist on one by e-mail, because i dropped it off for diagnosis, and got the quote by phone almost a week later.Couple this with being told to bring the car in on a friday, and then when we get there "i cant even diagnose this for a week, why would you bring it in." Well, because you told us we could bring it in that day only 45 minutes earlier. When I called just today for an update on the repair with promise it would be done this afternoon, my call was mysteriously dropped after being transferred by the kind receptionist not once, but twice. Would not recommend getting anything service here without getting it in writing. Straight thievery and terrible service.I can't speak to their sales department, and their receptionist was lovely. Their service department is a disheveled bag of hammered booty hole. A festering, putrid blister on the hiney of the otherwise noble profession of automobile repair.I would not reccomend this place in regards to their service department. In 20 years of car ownership, I have never experienced anything like this. Absolutely atrocious service, and incredibly dishonest pricing practices.

TERRIBLE SERVICE DEPARTMENT:My awful journey to this dealership began in November 2022 when I had to argue my point for my vehicle (2016 Jeep Renegade Latitude) to be seen. It took a month for them to repair my vehicle’s transmission after I was first told it would complete within a week. Once it was completed approximately a week and a half later, my coolant notification alerted and my truck began to overheat. I had it towed the next day, and another argument almost ensued, saying it was something separate from the transmission and I would have to pay. Only to be told days later it was a mistake of theirs. Next, I went to get my vehicle back, and the electrical stuff on the steering wheel didn’t work, so I left it there again. Days later, I was told my battery was low, and I needed a new one (I don’t know how I was responsible for it when they drained the battery trying to fix it). I finally got my vehicle back yesterday, only to hear loud rattling noises from the cabin and lose pieces sliding under my hood as I made turns in the truck. Today, with my father as a witness, we found two tools under the vehicle hood. Of course, I was shocked, and I took pictures. But something is still wrong with my vehicle, and it doesn't sound very good. I have never in my lifetime received deplorable service at a dealership. My truck is destroyed, and my time is wasted. This place doesn’t take time to repair cars, and all they care about is how much money they are going to charge you. To anyone reading this, find somewhere else!Services: General repairs & maintenance

Quick service. The shuttle was available to drop me off at Walmart while they worked on my Jeep. Quick service. In and out.

I was driving to Leonardtown, MD this past very rainy Saturday morning to pick up a new puppy and had a small pickup window. 30 minutes before my destination the passenger side windshield wiper intermittently started to act up and wasn't returning all the way back down. This interfered with the driver's side wiper and the driver's side wiper flew off. I was able to locate an Auto Zone, get a new wiper and proceed. Less than a minute down the road the passenger side wiper locked up with the driver's side wiper and I realized I needed to find a Jeep dealer. Luckily, DARCARS Jeep in Waldorf was only 4 minutes away and I was able to get there safely. I pulled into the service lane and before I was out of my Jeep, the gentleman inside had come out to see how I was and how they could help me. I explained the situation, the schedule I was on, and asked, was there any way someone could look at the vehicle, and stop the passenger side wiper from interfering. He went to check in the service area and came back with a service technician. The technician went right to work on the wipers, and within 5 minutes had determined the issue, tightened the bolts on the wipers and put on the passenger side wiper that I had to remove to get there and we were ready to go. I cannot fully express how impressed I am with the service I received that day, the kindness and willingness to help, the speed with which the issue was resolved; they made a very unpleasant and stressful situation completely melt away. It is the best experience I have ever had with servicing a vehicle. I went inside to speak to the general manager, to explain how wonderful my experience had been and how impressed I was with the service department. She was equally delightful to speak to and I cannot express how appreciative I am for everything that they all did to help me out that day. We were able to get back on the road, and make it in time to pick up our new puppy, and had the peace of mind knowing that the 2-hour drive home would be a safe one. Thank you DARCARS of Waldorf, MD!

Let me start by saying I was a repeat customer of DARCARS. I am letting this review stand for the Waldorf location. Once you buy the car you are nothing to them. You are treated like royalty until you actually buy. Scheduling service is A JOKE. I recently had an issue with my uconnect system. My car wouldnt shut off electronics in my car and thus my battery would have depleted. I called DARCARS at 10am and asked to be seen. Was told itd be a month. So, I called uconnect and they said it just needed a dealer update and that all the dealership needed to do was put the usb for the update in my car. No sitting with it or further work. Just plug in and let it install. I called again and said this and was told they couldnt do it. What a joke. I went to Waldorf Dodge and explained issue and they took me in immediately and fixed the problem!! Waldorf Dodge gained a customer and DARCARS lostvone. This has been an ongoing issue with them.

First off no one was wearing a mask even they were sitting in a small area. The serve rep was coughing and sneezing and did not bother to sanitize his hands before handling my key. Worst customer service I have ever received from a Darcars dealer. Did not order the tire or call me to I inform me that the tire was not in when expected. When speaking with the manager she over talked me not willing to hear my concerns. Then the service manager tells me that I will have to pay labor even though I have the wheel and tire warranty but yet he had not even submitted the claim to the warranty company. No sir buddy I know what is covered under my plan! I have no out of pocket cost! Fast forward a week later and I go to get my brake changed at Goodyear and my wheel lock is missing. I call the Darcars at 9am and no one is there that can help me. The person who answered the phone was not apologitic at all for my inconvenience. I will never use this Darcars again, I would rather drive 20-40 mile out of my to New Carrollton or Rockville to receive better service
