TLDR: DON'T USE. They will destroy valuable items, fight you tooth and nail to not compensate, and then agree to the compensation. Then "supposedly" drop said compensation off in the mailbox and wish you good luck...If we could we would give them 0 stars. Over a year later after helping us move only 35 minutes and we are still dealing with them and their absolute lack of caring. Their movers broke a brand new 75 TV, our NordicTrack treadmill, guitar, and a full-size all-wood bed frame. They immediately told us it wasn't their issue and argued with us because the movers left so quickly after throwing everything off the truck that we only immediately spotted the broken tv and treadmill. They tried telling us because of older mild scratches (literally on top of the handles, where I sit the walking the desk) on the treadmill they didn't owe us anything. I only asked for them to pay for the cost of repairs as it made using the treadmill safely impossible. They told us our TV could be replaced by a TV THEY bought of similar value. And denied us any compensation for the bedframe because we refused to allow their movers to come back out to try to fix the bed frame. Not to mention the gouges in our walls, and wood floors were deep enough that paint wouldn't cover them- in a house that was spotless when we moved in! Their movers also smoked which left our boxes and home stinky. After almost a year we finally agreed on a number for compensation and they told us they dropped the check in the mailbox, via USPS!! It has been over a month and we still have not received a thing. We have called and emailed, and spoken to random people at that business with literally ZERO answers. I am not surprised by their actions which only speak to their values as a company. Their response via email is laughable because you'll send 4 or more follow-up emails before you get a response that shows a lack of caring and tact. They don't care about you, your home, or your items. DON'T USE THEM!

Moving is stressful. District Moving certainly took some of that out of our transition process. They arrived on time, were professional and courteous. Most importantly they took care of our property. No nicks and scrapes to walls and floors of either the home we vacated or our new home and certainly no damage to our furniture and belongings. Their pricing was more than fair which made us appreciate their service even more.

District Moving Companies relocated our 43,000-square-foot law firm last month over a weekend and they executed perfectly. Their staff was professional from start to finish and extremely organized.We started moving the office after the office closed on Friday at 5:30 pm and by Monday the firm was open at 9:00 am. We can't be more pleased!! Thank you District Moving!!!!!

I have used District Moving on both my own personal residential move and many commercial office moves. They are hands down the best in the area. I received multiple quotes and they are always the most thorough and encompassing so there are no surprises at the end with unexpected charges. The crews are always on time and professional. I highly recommend giving them a chance.

A pleasure to deal with. The staff was very professional and well organized. District moved my offices and my home and stored my property in their storage facility for several months.When my new offices were ready, District delivered everything on time and on budget. The following week they moved me to my new home.Everything went very smoothly. I highly recommend District Moving for office, homes and storage!Very happy!!

The pricing was reasonable, movers were friendly and worked hard, but, could not finish the job on time. Told me I would have to pay for another hour or two. So, I ended up moving the remainder of my things in my own person cars making several trips back and forth over the remainder of the evening. On top of that, they broke my new 65 inch smart TV and never mentioned it. I found out later that evening when I went to hang it and turn it on that it had been damaged and had a crack all the way across the screen that could not be seen until it was turned on. When I contacted the company to alert them of the issue, they were rude, defensive and did everything they could to say I broke my own TV and that they were not responsible. They refused to own up to their mistake or even offer any type of apology or compensation. Please be careful and aware of their dishonest practices. They are liars! I will never again associate with or recommend this company.

We are a military family with orders to a new state. Our pick up and delivery was set for over a month. The date for delivery comes- District Moving Co. never shows up or contacts us about our lack or delivery. They are blaming it on the operations company, saying they never received the email but the company has clear record of their email correspondence. The manager, Ann, has been no help at all and unprofessional with no empathy or attempt to resolve the issue. When asked to be transferred to the general manager she dropped the call. What a wonderful way to treat a military family. Worst experience moving ever.

In the end, they found our lost bin and gave it to us, but only after making us pay an additional $75 for the second delivery. Horrendous customer service. They packed up our son's college dorm room in March, stored our stuff and then we scheduled a delivery in August. The packing was done with us remote via FaceTime. Our son saw them pack 2 bins. However, they delivered only one. So much of our stuff was missing! We tried to file a claim. Here's stuff they said in their email... 1. "First we have spoken to ****** and she advised that she only picked up one bin from your sons room, that she did not remain on the call with your son while she was packing the room that they went over the items that were there and they hung up. What she read to your son prior to packing was that anything past the 1 bin is an additional $75.00. Then she advised him that she could not take any item that had liquid in it or was a food item. She never advised him he had more than one bin.1. " This was after we explained that our son saw them pack 2 bins and the packer explained it was 2 bins! 2. "The word 'claim' is appropriate as you are 'claiming' items were not delivered." Flat out calling us liars. How does that help the situation? 3. "We were very precise in who had how many bins this was all documented prior to leaving the dorm rooms. DMCI never billed you for 2 bins and we never packed 2 bins." What's the opposite of precise? Avoid this company. So many better to chose from. Unfortunately, the university gave us little choice.
