First of let me start by saying that the one star is only for an employee - J. BEL. - sir let me start by saying that I know we all have bad days; I deal a lot with customers at my line of work however that doesn’t give you the right to threat people as rudely as you did. We come here all the time and everyone and I mean everyone is friendly and courteous. I even hear a lady once said she had to step out to calm down because she wasn’t having a good day. I hope, I really do, that you change… I’m hoping it had nothing to do with us being Hispanics, since again we have always being treated amazing here. If more details are needing please contact me. Mr. Bel, the reason I asked if you were new was because I know for sure that anyone working there for a long time knows better than to be as rude as you were… have a blessed and amazing day. He is the only reason I have it a one star. .. and it might not mean anything to anyone else however I was very very disappointed by his attitude.

Leaky roof for months now, inviting mold that can affect employees and customers who are breathing in mold spores. No signs of repair. Just trash cans to catch water.
Broken front door that has been that way for at least a couple of months with no attempts at repair, so the door slams shut. How do the employees deal with the constant slamming door? It would drive me nuts.
Goodwill of Greater Washington has a maintenance staff for their stores. What's going on? Get the stuff fixed. This is not the fault of the store manager. This is a corporate issue not being addressed.
Update 2/15/25: door has finally been fixed. Good job 👍

I love to go thrifting and I don’t know why, but every time I come to this store, I always score a deal here unlike other thrift stores! Love this place.

Lack of preparedness of donation center. If store opens at 10 am, why is the parking lot plowed, but not the area for dropping off donations?

Fantastic place to shop, and the staff was amazing ? ? especially Raynice. I hope I spelled her name right, but anyway, she was my cashier and had the sweetest attitude ever, which made my shopping experience that much more appreciated ? ?

Haven’t had much luck at this location. I will say I appreciate the bathroom is decent. Poor customer service. Male at the register saw there was a line and prioritized responding to text messages.

I love this goodwill! It's clean and tidy which makes thrifting so much more pleasant. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially my favorite employee Melba! She graciously explained the color sale system they use and signed me up to help save me money! I'm always greeted by her happy hello when I visit, which is a plus. Can we get more employees like Melba in Waldorf please???

My playsister (Ro) and I visited the Goodwill store in Waldorf after dropped off another play sister who lived in LaPlata, Maryland. There was much traffic down Branch Ave to rte 301 both ways! I absolutely love this Goodwill store. It has changed. I always see new things and I believe there must be a store donating items because I found a particular new dress (style) in various beautiful colors in each size! Unfortunately I was only looking for greeting cards. My sista was looking for a vest like too. I also spotted the most beautiful motivational wall plaques and signs! I was in a strict budget so I could not purchase some of the other magnificent finds! I will come back asap! Great store! Bright! Colorful! Clean! Organized! Nice prices! Super staff team!!!

Ms. Melba, located at the Goodwill Store in Waldorf, MD, is one of the most welcoming associate that I’ve met at the store. Melba sets the atmosphere as soon as you enter the store. Her personality and genuine “Welcome” is top notch. Melba provides outstanding customer service upon checkout. She always offer compliments on my purchases and gives great ideas.I appreciate Melba’s service and grateful for building a camaraderie with a great person.Thank you Marla for all you do to make Goodwill, Waldorf, MD a great place to shop.
