Harold is one of the most professional and patient reps that I've spoken to while doing business in general.I had to call back several times in a single day due to not being given vital information from AAA.I called back today. Harold remembered me, answered my concerns, and even took the time to assist me by reserving my car over the phone.He made sure that I received my AAA discount and prepared me for my rental on Wednesday.Thank you, Harold! I hope you receive the recognition you deserve. You're an asset.

Got there at pick up time. No associate there and no car. Ran around to 2 different Hertz and spoke with (and got disconnected) three times. First location I was sent never had the car to begin with (over booked) second location wouldn’t honor the price I prepaid online and I would have to pay the difference! Spend 5 hrs driving to find a car I paid for the day before I was supposed to leave for a trip. Ended up cancelling all together! JUST DONT BOOK WITH THEM, you are taking a chance on your trip.

This is merely a desk with a computer terminal inside Pep Boys, nothing fancy at all. There are no signs for Hertz so its easy to miss. I was pleased with customer service. It was a small staff of two. I waited about 10min, while they handled other customers but they acknowledged me several times, so that made a difference. They didn't have the SUV I reserved, so I was upgraded to a much nicer one. Patrick was thorough and friendly. He was sincere, not rehearsed. It was a good experience and I will use them again.

Patrick goes above and beyond. As it appears to be deserted, it's just hidden, Hertz is located inside Pep Boys. And there waits Patrick looking to get you squared away and on your way.

Hertz inside of Pep Boys has awesome customer service! Many thanks and Kudos to Mr. Patrick! He is wonderful. He was patient with me and looked out for me with a great rental car and explained everything to me when I had several questions. I appreciate him and his team! His supervisor is very good too. When I needed to extend car for one day it was not a problem and when when I needed to drop car off later on in the day it was easy to do as they have a drop box with envelopes to put the key in. Thank you all so much! ???

Mike and the team at Waldorf hertz location are a treat to work with. After much confusion with another agency, Mike and his team accommodated a last minute reservation for me. As a lifelong enterprises customer, Hertz now has my business.

Forced to use Hertz because of our company account. They closed the closet one in Lexington park (probably because the service was so bad). Had to travel 45 minutes to wait another 30-40 minutes before being helped. Specifical asked for a car with a easy pass. They didn't have it or the small car reserved for us. They put us in a small SUV that has only one 12v outlet that doesn't work so no using my GPS. I've been using Hertz for probably 8+ years now and there's always some delay/problem. I'm almost used to it.

The staff here is friendly and willing to work with the customers. The cars are clean having good condition. The rates are reasonable and the rewards program is awesome. The speed of service is typically quick and reasonable.

Customer service dont deserve a 1. Customer service is horrible. Hertz employee look @ you as to say why are you here. If u don’t like your job go find another one or retire. Overall service for me is a 0. Good customer service bring customers back. The CEO of Hertz need to drop in to observe. I will never use this location again.

So my mom recently rented a car here and she could tell the tires felt a little different. She assumed it was because she drives a newer model and it just felt different. Turns out tire pressure was low we went to a air pump and filled up the tire no problem. The vacation was over and it was time to leave the rental house. We started heading home tire pressure was low in another wheel. We went to fill it up with air the tire was extremely flat. So we called hertz emergency service. They said they would drive us to a airport where another hertz is so we agreed. It took them too long. So we called up a friend. The friend cam and said they would drive with us to the airport because we had to much in the rental and hertz said we have to take everything out of the car so we said we would just drive to the airport. We tried to get there but we ended up at a church because at that point the tire was smoking. My moms friend said they would drive to hertz and get a new rental so they did they came back with a new rental and we were on our way after putting all of our stuff into the other vehicle. We were on our way the manager at the airport was very kind and gave us a new vehicle. Later we get a call from hertz saying we must pay 401 dollars for the expenses. All because we didn’t know where the spare tire was in the vehicle. She was rude and kept saying that all these extra fees would be added because we didn’t know where the tire was. When it was ultimately there fault for giving us a car with faulty tires. We were just annoyed at that point. We decided to search the tire brand and the were cheaply made tires just to get you to one place form another after a flat tire.anyway I was disappointed with there customer service and quality of cars overall. At the end of the day me and my mom will never go there again!

Don’t bother. Very unorganized, the dude said they don’t have any cars!!! My insurance authorized at 2:44 PM!! He said he was going to call me back, he didn’t . I called him back, as Uber prices are climbing!! Asked him to add my husband to the agreement since, he’s gotta drive by there. Put me on hold for 28 minutes! He said they close at 6PM and take the last person at 5:45!! The guy is very rude. I’m so disgusted. Offered me a Nissan kicks, if it comes out of the shop in time. If not we are SOL. I had a choice between enterprise and hertz, they will NEVER get my business again. I should’ve know it was hood, connected to a pep boys Smfh. I’ll be sure to contact corporate too. If they are connected to corporate. I really wish zero was an option for a rating, that’s still too high. It’s 5:40 3 hours later and that raggedy dude still has no cars. Not even a possible. UPDATE, thanks to State Farm they were able to cancel, this garbage establishment and get me with a better one.They have inventory, they called me back!!! I wish I’d gone with enterprise in (Waldorf)sooner.

Two weeks ago I had a reservation with hertz fairfax. They never called me. When I got there the guys says he has no cars and wouldn’t help me find another cargo van. I made this reservation 2 months ago. He was basically telling us we were SOL. I spent 5 hours calling for a cargo van and no one had one or they wouldn’t rent to me. When I heard the Waldorf office had a van I drove an hour there. When I got there, they did not have a cargo van and I started crying. The female lady proceeded to help me find a van and they had a 14 passenger van which they rented to me. She went above and beyond, and I had a van. The lady was very nice and helped me when the falls church hertz didn’t even lift a finger to help me. This hertz had great customer service and was extremely helpful.

The selection of vehicles is not very vast so it leaves the customer desperate for whatever is available.In addition, Hertz HLE may want to consider adding employees to this location to ensure customers don't have as long of a wait when picking up and dropping off.On the other hand, the young lady who assisted me with my pickup (on a Saturday no less) and drop off was very attentive and did a great job identifying how she could address my concerns with minimal issues. In fact, she called me two hours before my scheduled pickup time to ensure she would be able to accommodate my needs.
