Customer service was not great at this location and the store is a bit overcrowded. 3 stars for the merchandise.

This Homegoods is very well stocked. Found some nice furniture pieces as well as items for my kitchen. There's plenty of parking to include handicapped parking. The store itself was clean, as well as the bathroom. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

This is one of my favorite store. They have a great selection of merchandise to update your home. While some price are a bit too high, mist items are reasonably priced.

Merchandise is hit or miss but that's pretty much the norm at most Homegoods. The biggest issue with this store is checking out. There are never enough people working at this location. This evening there was only one of eight registers open. Clearly there were more staff in the store but not on the floor and not checking people out. Only after there were 12 people in line did someone come to help. Be walked out as many times as I've made purchases here.

I was driving through Virginia and stopped at the Home Goods Alexandria store. I purchased a beautiful floor lamp. It did not fit what I intended it for. Since i live in MD I went to Home Goods Waldorf MD on 12/18/22 with the receipt and the tag to the lamp. Cheryl, the cashier refused to issue me a refund because the Alexandra store listed the lamp in a category different from the Waldorf store, where she states the lamps are in category 43. What type of sense does that make? Per Cheryl, her Manager agreed with her. I explained to Cheryl that Alexandria is 1 hr 45 minutes away & she said I guess you're gonna have to take it back to that store because our lamps are in 43. I should not be penalized as a customer because one store decides to place their merchandise in a different section than the other store and labels them in a different category. If you have your receipt and the tag to the item then each store should honor that and not have a customer drive distances to return the item. I've never experienced such unprofessionalism & the absolute worse customer service at a Home goods in all the years I've been shopping there. I've never not been issued a refund when I had the receipt and everything else associated with the item. I hope someone at corporate reads this and admonishes Cheryl & the Manager. I plan on making a call because this is just inexcusable.

4 craft kits sitting with all of the 50% Christmas decor when I asked why it didn't ring up on sale the cashier got Eugene "manager" and Eugene says "yeah, because it's not a Christmas item" I proceeded to explain it was sitting on the table with multiple "Take an additional 50% off all Christmas motif" signs he then very disrespectfully says "well people put things wherever they want in here" there was 3 other stocked there so it was obviously a mistake in stocking. I did tell them they may want to move the other 3 because it is confusing them sitting there. He proceeded to say "yep we have people constantly looking through the store" the kits were in eyesight from the register. I completely understand mistakes happen but the attitude and disrespect was completely unecessary especially when it was a mistake on the stores part.
