This bank is absolutely horrible! Imagine trying to use your money somewhere and the transaction declines and then the representative Sheila at the bank says “It’s the way of the world” what do I expect her to do?” I simply asked what’s going on and why am I trying to make a purchase and I can’t use my OWN money!!! I’m searching for another bank as we speak! Horrible bank! Horrible Customer Service!! I will be filing a complaint also!

The ATMs at this branch are always broken. When you look at Google maps for other machines, it takes you to PNC banks. When you call the customer service number, they can't tell you if it is another bank branch with services or just an ATM machine nearby. It seems their employees also use Google maps. I am a white "legacy" customer from Buffalo (tellers in Virginia sneered "Buffalo legacy" at me when I requested mortgage information and I ended up going to DC due to the NoVA rudeness). I believe this branch is neglected because it's in a black community. This county's income average is over twice the national average and the wealthiest black majority county in the nation. This is the DMV in 2023, not Buffalo in 1960. Get with the times. Fix the damn ATM machines.

On September 2, I went to the Walldorf bank, I have an account and I deposit a lot of money into my account weekly, I went to the service window, and the employee named GONZALES asked me for identification, I handed him my passport and he gave it to me. He checked and told me that because I didn't have a visa, passport or American papers I had to leave the bank, then I asked myself a question? Does he work for the bank or is he an immigration officer? In front of all the people he made me feel bad and embarrassed, then I realized that it was racism that because of my skin color they look down on me. But I'm proud of where I come from and who I am

Not worth the 1 star I gave them. I've used M&T Bank for years. The customer service number is worthless. They can never assist with anything, and they always refer you to a branch. Just through the whole bank away. Enrolled in online banking, and I used it for about a year. Then 1 day it stopped and hasn't worked since. But Its been 3 years, since it stopped working. I've called and called. Eventually, I moved my money. I keep the bare minimum, not even 5 dollars. At this rate, I feel they have a high potential for a breach. The worst bank ever.

Rude and unfair banking practices. They act like it is there money and want to hold on to the funds and not give it to it’s owners.Do not bank here. Get you a prepaid card before banking here.

Tried to open a checking account due to a promotion on their website. However, it was the last day of the promotion that I had scheduled an appointment to open the account, and they refused to honor it without a printout of the offer. Will never bank with this organization. I recommend another location or another banking instituion altogether.

The teller Elizabeth is very rude. Never have had problems with the other staff however Elizabeth should not be in a job that requires any social or customer service skills. We will be switching banks immediately. We go to a bank to deposit money. Not to be ridiculed when we do. Just a friendly smile would help. No worries banks are a dime a dozen.

This bank is racist!I came in ,signed the clipboard to open a account and was skipped.A black lady who didn't sign in was called in front of me by another black lady who work there!

So I've bank with this financial institution for over a decade. They have been consistently wonderful, respectful, courteous and transactionally sound on each and every visit. Bank representative Sheila and Branch Manager Ms. Tayman are amazing. Recently, I needed some assistance with an abnormal transaction. The team at my local M&T made it easy... problem solved. I truly appreciate it, but what I appreciate most is the consistent great banking.
