Today I had to transfer money to my elderly grandmother who has been having a lot of trouble walking this week, so I had to assist her with walking into the building. There was a short line which I explained to the guy at the front that I had to transfer money directly to her account, and he asked if she needed to sit I said, yes please, if there is a chair I can let her sit while I wait in line, that would be great! I had no problem waiting and then assisting her with standing at the counter if i had to. The sweet guy at the front ended up asking around to the employees who are seated at a desk if they could help us so my grandma could sit while we did the transaction. He found a sweet lady to help us, and she was great. Very helpful, explained the process to my grandma and myself, and of course my grandmother was able to sit comfortable instead of standing assisted. KUDOS to these employees who have great morals and care about the elderly community. I wish I would have asked for their names, I feel so bad I cant thank them and shout them out by name. But keep up the good work nacy federal! Will definitely be using this branch location from now on

This establishment is clean, the staff is friendly and professional. The only drawback was there is a line before we are able to be seen regarding questions about their car buying service that was not answered online.

Branch is always understaffed. Do you wait in line for hours bring food and water the employees don’t care because they are overworked. Take your money to another bank branch. Trust me for your own sanity.

This is the nicest, most community friendly branch in the DC Metro. I love the vibes and the support. I only wish they still did business banking inside the branch. I prefer face to face interactions.Thank you Navy Federal. I always enjoy each personality and smiling face. It never feels transactional.

Wait time could be better, especially when you make an appointment. However, the staff is very polite and welcoming. Kevin did a great job with us!

I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Jessica, one of the more senior associates at NFCU at the Waldorf, MD branch, a very cordial polite consummate professional. Although NFCU is the largest credit Union in the world and customer relations is strained, Jessica ensured my needs were met and her personal touch ensured I remained a valued member that still felt a "one on one" experience instead a one in 13 million customer base experience as NFCU has evolved into a giant conglomerate compared to when I joined NFCU 28 years ago as a boot Marine Corps 1LT attending Naval Flight School in Pensacola, FL. Jessica is a model employee. Because NFCU is the giant Credit Union of the world, computers are used to generate credit scores, loan approvals, etc. Jessica ensured that the human element remains in the transaction she coordinated with my credit score problem. She took the time to generate a letter to higher headquarters to rectify my credit score issue caused partly by my human error and NFCU computer algorithms. Many accolades to Jessica for keeping the human interaction between customer and company as computers continue to deteriorate human interaction that was once a normal scenario senior citizens experienced in the past. I recommend Jessica be groomed and promoted to higher positions to ensure human interaction remains a priority with NFCU. And I don't mean just walking into a branch to fill out a loan application, etc. I mean to ensure when a customer has a problem, an NFCU associate has the the grooming, etiquette, professionalism, and courtesy to ensure the customer leaves the credit union not feeling like just a number in the 13 million NFCU customer base. March 21, 2023 we received an outstanding service from Paris Walton who helped process a new car loan application for my husband, Charlie King and son, Anthony Matthew R King.Due to the complications on MVA’s error in my son’s last name, it took time to get his credit approved. If not through the diligence and patience of Ms. Paris Walton, explaining to loan officers and forwarding documentation to support the correct name of my son, this loan would not have been approved.We were all very thankful for Ms. Walton’s full attention to details and high level of professionalism. Customer service is garbage, they consistently change their terms and agreements to fit their financial needs, not their customers and it’s what is expected. We should’ve seen this coming when they were letting everyone have free accounts.They need us we do not need them. I will be taking my business else where.

I do recommend this one only because I have business at the Wells Fargo next to it. If you want to run in and out though this is not the one to go to. It was busy today. The line was all the way into the lobby. And there was also a long wait for the ATM. I think it was that way because it was Payday Friday for the government. Even though the line was long it took about 20 minutes to get to the teller. That's why I'd I can do things online then that's what I do. All in all great customer service from the staff...and I got a stamped $5 with a special message Latoya knows what I'm talking about.

Terrible policy for holding checks for over $2000.00 dollars!!!I have bills to pay and can't access my money til wens!!!I deposited it Friday night in the ATM machine.what type of b/s rule is this?!I'm definitely going to switch back to nrl federal credit union.im sure they don't treat members like this!!!
