No happy at all. Your placed on hold everytime you call, someone comes back online and then the call drops. You call back and its a voicemail. Service has really gotten terrible.

Please don't bring your pet here! My cat has horrible allergies. Initially we were happy to finally get an allergy test done for him and learn what he's allergic to. After we got the results the vet told me he was allergic to "various fungus" and maple trees. He said my cat was allergic to so many things that there was no point getting an allergy shot cause it'd be too expensive. He said I should come in once a month and get him a steroid shot to help with the itchiness. So I trusted them to give him a steroid shot. When I asked for the steroid shot they said "so you mean the cytopoint injection". I assumed this was the name of the steroid so I said yes. What I was not told was that cytopoint is literally a medicine made specifically for dogs with allergies and can actually make certain allergic reactions WORSE in cats!My baby has been itching himself till he bleeds for months and we didn't know what was wrong. We finally took him to another vet and they told us that cytopoint was a dog medicine. We have been paying money for them to give my cat a shot that isn't even supposed to be used on him! They were just taking our money while they let him suffer!I am heartbroken that I trusted these people and gave them my money for them to do nothing. Please don't bring your pet here. I know many people left good reviews, and I'm aware that I should have asked what a cytopoint injection is. but a professional vet should know that a cytopoint is only for dogs and can harm cats. It takes about one Google search

my kitten almost died bc your vet didnt catch what was happening.on nov. 11th I noticed my 6 mo/old kitten sleeping more often. By nov.13 she was walking slow & weird. I decided she needs to see a vet. nov14 I get her in to paw prints. I bring her in for- lethargic, "cant jump or climb", "questionable leg pain". the vet examined her and said It seems shes having back pain & I agreed to an x ray, "the x ray was normal but she does have a fever". she suggests me to see a neurologist for further imaging & sent me home with meds for the back pain & fever (gabapentin & prednsiolone). they requested to see her back in a week. at first it seem like she got better but it was worsening. she was becoming more weak & hanging her rear outside the litterbox when using. her bowel movements were infrequent. she was still eating and drinking. eating less over time but drinking plenty because of the steroid for back pain.nov.21st I take her back, take her out the carrier (because I pay to go inside during the exam) & I find she pooped herself. there was worms. the vet does give me dewormer. she STILL had a fever. STILL weak. I still dont know whats wrong with her & neither does this vet. the vet still recommends me to see the neurologist. I mention the fleas to her. they give me the flea prescription. why didnt she point out the fleas the first time? was weird to me. I forgot to mention it the first time. she sends me home with gabapentin for pain, prednisolone-"for pain", an antibiotic-clindamycin, a muscle relaxer-methacarbomal, oral dewormer, and a *prescription* for flea preventative because they were out. next day, nov.22: I decide to get a second opinion. my kitten lays in the same spot for 8 hours straight. not even sleeping. just staring & breathing fast. she collapses when she tries to walk. she peed on herself. my heart was aching watching her suffer. I took her somewhere else.at the new vet (NOT AT PAW PRINTS),she examines my kitten. she points out the fleas, her pale gums, her fever. accompanied with the lethargy symptom. she says, this has to be a parasitic infection, we need to do blood work. I agreed. Due to the fleas and worms, my kitten was anemic and her liver was infected, and she wouldve died had I waited any longer. this vet gave my kitten a shot of b12 for energy, fluids because she was severely dehydrated, a capstar blue pill to kill fleas immediately, revolution plus to prevent fleas and ticks, some other topical med to kill and/or prevent worms. they demonstrated how to give my kitten medicine easy by giving her all of the first dosages she was going to have to take daily for a week. they gave me a pill popper tool that makes it easier as well. They instructed me to discontinue the gabapentin, because that was a sedative for pain management or anxiety, and discontinue the methacarbomal b/c that was also a sedative. Also I wouldnt be able to see if my kitten is getting better if shes half asleep 24/7.They instructed me to give my kitten the antiobiotic, to rid infection. the steroid, to rid of liver infection. the dewormer, to kill the worms. and for the fleas? oh, the capstar pill had them dying & falling off of her in the first 30 minutes. it was an hour and a half drive home, and she already seemed to be feeling slightly better when we got there. it did take about a week to get back to 90% good health. so after a few weeks of making sure my kitten was 100% health:I did call paw prints to see what they could do for me about the fact that I feel like the effort to help my kitten wasn’t there. I wanted to know if I could be refunded the $400 for 2 visits but at the end of the day that wouldn’t have made me feel better. I didn’t get a refund. What bothers me is, I had two visits with paw prints and the vet didn’t know my kitten was so anemic & infected and literally dying… she was treating my kitten for back pain. But the second visit she’d gave me an antibiotic because my kitten still had a fever. Not exactly for the reason that s

Paw Prints Animal Hospital was pretty good in the beginning. My Fur Babies received their shots, my questions were answered, and everyone was kind. The problem came when my baby was suffering with ear pain. He was seen, tested, and it was determined nothing was wrong. Did they really test... I don't know because I couldn't go in with my baby. What I do know is that in taking my Fur Baby elsewhere, there was a problem. RX was was written and a week later, my Fur Baby is doing great. This really makes me question what is being done. We pay our money but what is really being done? So sad we have to wonder. We should know, right...

I’ve been going to this hospital for a few years now, prices are reasonable, the people who work here are always nice, and I’ve never had a suspicion of mistreatment or malpractice with my pets… Yet every visit is met with initial service at least an hour after my scheduled appointment. They have “lost” my pets’ vaccination files more than a few times. Plus the only way to speak with a Vet is over the phone. Communication with the customer is a severe shortfall with this business, but like I said the prices are reasonable.

They need to change how they run this. I had an appointment at 11am. I came by and was told it shouldn’t take too long. The paperwork took 30 mins. The pet was then checked in and after 2 1/2 hour wait in the car they brought the pet out. They told me the pet was done and would have a runner bring him out but it took an hour for them to bring him out?

We have been going here for over 5 years and as of the pandemic, you are unable to accompany your pet. NOW that the pandemic is over, you STILL are unable to accompany unless you request. They are on a hybrid schedule. During the weekend, you’re able to but on Saturdays you’re unable to. The reasoning is because the visiting vet (Saturdays) doesn’t know the pets and the owners unlike during the week, the permanent vet is aware. THIS RATIONALE MAKES NO SENSE! Some owners you would want the owners to come in. Note to Paw Prints, the pandemic is over and your rationals makes absolutely no sense nothing about it is sound. Do better!

My 1.5 year old Pomeranian has been going to Paw Prints since he was 4 months, they were recommended by a neighbor because of their affordable prices and good care. I’ve personally never experienced any issues and sorry to those whom have because I love it here!! I will take that 45 minutes drive from VA to Waldorf any day and I always recommend Paw Prints to other pet owners. The techs are always so nice, they answer the phones when calling to make appointments and they follow up on emails. The gentleman who checks you in when you arrive to tell you where to park is always professional and nice.Out of the numerous times we’ve been for check ups and vaccines, there has only been 1 instance where we waited about an hour or so before we were seen and the staff was apologetic for the wait.I do wish we got to know the doctors a bit more since we cannot go in with our pets to ask questions or see what’s going on but I understand how their set up is and that’s what makes them efficient and keeps their cost low. The techs do a great job communicating our concerns or questions to the doctor.Thank you Paw Prints!!

I live an hour away from here. When we adopted our kittens we were told this is one of the best places to bring them. First time we made the trip we were told we couldn’t be more than 15 minutes late. We didn’t make it on time, our fault. No complaints. We make it on time for our appointment the second time and we’re told to wait in our car for the entire visit. We made it early to our appointment and sat in our car for an hour. Why couldn’t we come late last time if we were just going to wait. Someone with a dog came after we waited for an hour and was attended immediately. Like come on, why did we make an appointment for if we were basically being fit in the schedule. I don’t like the system of all curbside everything. No wait room no bathrooms like what are we waiting for Covid tests again. I felt like they didn’t value my time or anyone elses. Will definitely never come here again
