All of the staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and not judgmental about the fact that my cat had gotten ahold of a lily leaf. They saved her life! What more can I say.

I lost my Aries yesterday (11 yr old). He was vomiting foam, couldn’t eat and suddenly had decreased leg function. Took him in to the W.E.C, and he was able to walk in on his own power. Front desk staff was very nice, as were the techs. I paid, and Aries was taken back. Was told he had no bloat (thankfully) but megaesophagus and they would need to keep him overnight. He would be given related meds to see if that helps. Before I left I asked them to give him something for pain, as he was on Carprovet and Tramadol for arthritis but due to vomiting, he has been without. The tech said she’d talk to the doc and they will take care of it. Maybe give him gabapentin. I ask the lady at the desk about updates, and she kindly said no news is good news. The next morning around 0830 I get a call saying he was deteriorating rapidly, that the meds provided didn’t help. I got there. He was on a cart, unable to move and panting rapidly. Tongue swollen, and a tooth missing. I hadn’t noticed the missing tooth before. Doc comes in and says it’s neurological and there was nothing they could do there and that AA County could probably help but she doubted Aries would survive the trip. I asked if Aries was in pain and she stated she didn’t believe so. I made the decision to mercifully end his life. I loved on him, and he went peacefully.Looking at the paperwork afterwards, I saw no charge for the pain medication that i specifically asked for. Only for fluids and gastrointestinal meds. That hurts me to my core in a way I can’t express. I’m hurt that Aries went in walking and during the night, lost all ability to move, and I wasn’t there.I’m giving this facility 4 stars because of the kind front desk staff and techs, and because at the end of the day- the Dr. ended Aries’ suffering in a way I could not. But yes, I have regrets.

I was extremely disappointed in the services I received at this facility. Being in the healthcare field for 17 years it saddens me to see where our system is headed. Clearly this facility does not “care.” Dr. Fox however was the exception. Thank you sir for your service. It was greatly appreciated.

No one wants to ever be at the animal ER but I am sooo incredibly grateful for the superheros that make up this clinic. We took our senior cat who was having trouble breathing and we were greeted by friendly, professional and gentle humans. Even the salt water fish were doing a great job at keeping me calm. Dr. Baynes is the man, and was so incredibly knowledgeable, easy to talk with, and patient. He took time to hear all of our concerns and answer all of our questions. I knew right away we were in good hands. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Seriously. Thank you!

Wow! I am so pleased with our experience at Waldorf Emergency Care (WE Care). We're new to town and had received my cat's annual shots at a vet closer to home. Today, however, when I realized that Frances (my cat) was hobbling with some issue with her front leg, I called our local vet. As much as I like their service, I felt like a 9 day wait to be seen would be neglectful if Frances' injury was a broken or dislocated body part. My vet recommended WE Care because they have the ability to perform an X-ray and she would be seen today. I called WE Care and they said come on in, there's no appointment required. When I got there, I found the building well designed with plenty of room in a waiting area that kept everyone's animals pretty much to themselves. The staff was attentive and compassionate. The vet tech who took us back to the exam room was comforting and fully explained what was going to happen. Then in a few minutes, Dr. Baynes was in the room to tell me what his observations were. Dr. Baynes made suggestions and offered options. Not being a vet myself, he could have told me I needed to have the X-rays and a liver panel done and I wouldn't have been the wiser. But instead of spending hundreds of dollars, he recommended a more conservative approach, a kind of watch and see with a pain reliever. If necessary, I can return with Frances and have a reduced price second visit. That's more than fair! I appreciate their professionalism, the cleanliness and organization of the office and compassion of EVERY person I had contact with today. I feel like we experienced something pretty special and it wasn't outrageously expensive! Thank you WE Care!

Had to lay my 14.5 year old dachshund to rest and the hospital was great and reasonably priced, however the hospital no longer handles the cremation services, not at all the hospital’s fault but getting my dogs cremation figured out was incredibly complicated and expensive, not a lot of options for memorials, the cremation itself was more than the euthanasia, the website is not clear on a lot of their descriptions and instead of adding spots for photos you have to send a completely separate email or print off your own pictures for a $250 urn. I ended up almost paying $1,000 for three urns (Two were “ complimentary” even though I was charged for 1 of the two) not including the bill from the hospital. Waldorf emergency care did a wonderful job with my old girl, very supportive and let’s you spend as much time as you need with your pets but I hope they change the cremation service they work with cause I am not happy with the cremation company. What matters most to me is Dakota had a easy trip over the rainbow bridge in my arms.

This evening my pup woke up from a nap with her one good eye cloudy! I knew I had to check her eye pressure. We Care had the technology. The staff were caring and understanding. Alan, the doctors assistant was very thorough in documenting my pups eye history and explained to me the costs upfront which were reasonable in my opinion. After her exam, Dr. Slajchert discussed with me the results of her tests and proper treatment until I could see an eye specialist. I was very pleased with my experience here.

Biscotti was really sick so we rushed him in. Turns out he had Aspiration Pneumonia and was diagnosed with mega esophagus (ME) which was and still is scary. But the team got him stabilized and well enough to come home. Now we get him healed from his AP and build a bailey chair to get used to our new normal

Had a very good experience at 12am there with our cat. Yes, the wait was long (about 1 1/2 hours to be seen), but that's understandable given that it is an emergency vet and a person wouldn't experience anything differently going to the emergency room on a weekend or at night. The staff was very professional and friendly and took care of the issue very quickly once we were seen. Finally I was very surprised by the cost, which didn't seem like much more than what I would have paid at my regular vet. All in all, we were very happy with the experience and will go back, if needed.

If I could give zero stars I would. Do not recommend AT ALL. Place is extremely rude, racist and unprofessional. They don't know what they are doing here and are EXTREMELY MONEY HUNGRY. They show no sympathy for you or your pet at all. I don't even know why this place is even still in business.
