I would give zero stars if I could. I had rx genetic test done in August. I provided the report and link to a new provider in this office. This particular provider told me during a recent visit that cross referencing the report with new meds prescribed would cost this doctor their license and is not a gold standard of the FPCA. I checked with other providers treating me and they advised to leave this practice ASAP. My genetic report helps providers find other medications listed as red = detrimental or yellow = cautionary. It tells the provider to look for an alternative medications. I also do not appreciate the fact that the provider insinuated the report was not valid for me. The rx genetic testing was done because I was having many interactins to medications. I told her the genetic counselor told me when she reviewed the results of the report, it is important to provide the report and cross references link to other treating providers. This doctor at FPCA told me it was a scare tatic. After speaking with other treating providers its obvious the FPCA provider has NO knowledge of how the report works or the detriment to me as a patient if they prescribed something on the red or yellow portion of the report. I was a new patient but no longer. I would rather have a provider who understands the importance of the rx report instead of their license and so called Gold Standards. Please reconsider before you select this office as a provider, as licensing and gold standards are more important than patients.

Walkersvile location is so nice. The front desk is always super kind and helpful. And Rachel Meyers, my physician, is a very rare find. I had already heard great things about her but she even exceeded those. She is extremely intelligent, thorough and personable. I can tell that she really cares. She has helped me navigate all kinds of health matters- from big to small. And most importantly, I trust her. I totally recommend her and this practice.

I love this practice! Been seeing them for about 20 years and always treated with respect and much kindness! I recommend Frederick Primary Care Associates at 63 Thomas Johnson Dr to anyone looking for a primary care doctor. The nurse practitioners and medical assistants are very knowledgeable and very kind. The people, who greet you at the front desk are pleasant and helpful. Love them all!

Don’t bother being on time for an appointment, they never are. Waiting 45 minutes and still no doctor.

The building doesn't look like much, but the people who work inside really care and really go the extra mile to help you. They've spent countless hours on the phone fighting my insurance provider on my behalf. They've opened their doors on days when the office is closed just to see my son when he had health concerns as an infant. They accommodate my needle-phobia without judgment.Even though we've moved across town and this location is no longer very convenient for us, we plan to keep visiting this office for ourselves and our kids. I'll take a staff who cares over a space-age looking facility any day.

Don't go here unless you want a doctor that doesn't answer the phone, sends the wrong prescriptions, and requires an appointment if you lost a medication.

A pleasant office with relaxed and authentic staff and doctors. I know I am being well taken care of because of working through several issues together (My PCP, Nurses, and myself) with other providers that were less than professional and compromising my health. FRCA made sure that I had what I needed to move forward and fixed the issues the other providers caused.

I moved two years ago to Walkersville and both my daughter and I have been seen at the Walkersville FPCA in 2018. My primary doctor is at the Urbana office. I love the Urbana FPCA, the doctors, nurses and staff are very friendly and helpful. The Walkersville FPCA is completely the opposite.I recently went in for a sick visit and every time i have called they repeatedly say i am not a patient of there's and put me off, there must be something in my file as they literally have said this every time I have called for a sick visit with them for my daughter or myself this year. After stating it was only a sick visit they made the appointment for that same day and I saw Rachel. She stated if my symptoms where not better in to call and she would be able to call me in a prescription. I called today and was told Rachel is not in the office today. I asked what I can do then? They asked me to hold for over five minutes and I was then told that Rachel said i should call the Urbana office and have them look at her notes since she doesn't remember and that in the file it says come back if symptoms continue. This really irritated me, since I had said "I knew coming in was a waste of time" and she said "well the good thing is, if the symptoms continue I could call and she would call me in a prescription and I would not need to come back for another visit." I dont get the issue if they are all facilities of FPCA. I understood why they didnt take my daughter for a physical visit since that takes more time then a sick visit. I am trying to figure out how this is harming or a burden on them. They have the appointments when I call that day so clearly i am not taking the space for another patient that belongs to Walkersville office. I am not sure if they have a new office manager this year or what. I will never go to this office again. I would rather go to urgent care. And from the way the Walkersville office works I am guessing they would prefer me to go to urgent care other than there as well.
