Heard too many excuses as to why my mail wasn't delivered. The latest was it was too dark.

One of the best Post Offices I have experienced. The employees have a thankless job, but still provide very good customer service.

Long review short: Too lazy to do their job, disgustingly rude and unprofessional. Entirely disrespectful over the phone. I get it if they didn’t have the package or sincerely can’t deliver it, but nothing excuses such an attitude when asked a question “where is my package?”Long story: Boy do I have a tale for you. I missed a flight, and long story short I’m stuck in Maryland (where I am a resident) and my suitcase is in Washington state with my partner. There are nearly $100 worth of products in that suitcase, including essential lotions for my eczema, which is in its worse condition due to it being winter. No biggie, my partner pays for express shipping and I’m told it’ll be here in three days. Today it is officially over two WEEKS. I have since received a package from my partner’s mother (which took three days to ship, non-express) of Christmas gifts. So my partner is calling and calling and being told my package won’t be here until the 11th, which is absolutely unacceptable. So my partner calls this post office, TODAY, and gets hung up on TWICE. They are simply “too busy” as they have stated. Disgusting behavior and unprofessional. Get a better job if you’re “too busy” to deliver the goshdarn package.

First off I feel the pain of the other 1 star people as I am in the same boat. I constantly get others in the neighborhoods Mail or packages and even on several occasions I have received someone else’s Maryland State Tax return check and someone else’s stimulus check, one I walked to their house and gave it to them and the other I had the usps pick it back up. I have watched the usps driver drive past my house, then get a notice that my package was delivered. Weeks laters no package. I have witnessed our entire row of houses get the neighbor before them mail a lot. I’ve also put in an order for several packages to be picked when I had back issues, for them to deliver Mail to mailbox and drive on past the house. I go to the post office to speak to someone and all he had to say was maybe she forgot and she “might” get them the next day. The worse thing of all was when I get a message my package was delivered and a month later no package and when I went to post office to investigate the lady actually tried to tell me I had the wrong tracking number and she handed me a fake # and said this is the correct one. Oh you mean the one when I investigated was created at the time I was at the USPS huh? All I can say is UPS, FedEx and Amazon have never had an issue. Really wish there was something that can be done.

The people here have no pride in their storefront. Mail room is visible from lobby, and is old, dilatated, unprofessional looking. USPS needs to be privatized. Nice people, but feels like Kmart in the 1980's, only it is 2022. What business closes for an hour during lunch time exactly when customers are most likely/able to run to the post office?

I sent a card in the mail to a friend that lives two hours away in Maryland. It’s been almost a month and she still has not gotten the card. The worst part is there was a donation check in the card for her losing her husband in a tragic way. The employees at the post office were nice but the system itself is terrible. Everyone told me to not send the check through the mail but what am I supposed to do drive it four hours cause I can’t trust our government to do anything right??

The staff are nice at this site, but the USPS is just really bad service any more. Had a small birthday card that took way too long to get to my brother’s house. It was obviously opened and resealed. Stuff was stolen in the card. No faith in the service anymore. FedEx and UPS no issues ever. Will file a former complaint tomorrow, but I know nothing will be done.

Had to call and complain a year ago about my mailbox being left open every day that it was going to rain .Now for the last 3 days my mailbox has been left open, and yes it rained yesterday and it's supposed to rain later this afternoon.

We have had multiple issues with this Post Office in the last year. Yeah, I get the covid issues but there are ways that they can work around it. We had a package that was supposedly delivered and was not. We have been trying to get this resolved for over 5 months! They insist that it was delivered. They won't investigate further. Just insist that it was delivered. Wrong! "File a claim online." I would if the darn tracking would work for that. Somehow, it is able to be searched but not able to be found when an attempt to file a claim is being made. Today, I had a package that was sitting in limbo a little while. When I emailed the PO, suddenly it stated moving again. It was supposed to be delivered to me today. No attempt to deliver and get a signature. They just left a "Sorry we missed you" slip in the mailbox. My boyfriend was OUTSIDE and saw the carrier. I work from home so...NO excuse for this. He is supposed to be actually coming back to deliver the package today. We shall see.

Letter delivery is fine, but they consistently deliver packages to the wrong address. Sometimes my neighbors bring them to me, other times I never get them at all. "Informed Delivery" says they were delivered (but not to me). Contacting USPS does nothing. Calling them does nothing. All they say is "That shouldn't happen". But it does. All the time. How hard is it verify the address on the label? Is the problem with sorting at the post office, or does the person delivering the packages not check the address?

Horrible customer service. Lorrie, extremely rude, unprofessional, and if you’re going to talk about a customer at least do it so they can’t hear you or say something to their face.

Can't deliver packages to the right address. Have to go again and ask them where is my package. It says that it was delivered.
