“Anyone can have their medications filled here, they are seperate from Access Carroll. They do free pill packaging if you take a lot of medications. They also have the cheapest prices for medications if you don't have insurance. I can't recommend this place enough.”

“Excelent pharmacy. Dealt with the headsches of rite aid for years. Weis always has my meds in stock. Only issue is today is jan2. I have bad covid. My dr sent 3 scripts to be filled. I try getting on the mobile app. Error wont open my rx account.. so i try to log in on the website same thing. So i call them. I was informed by the pharmacist there system is down. They can not fill any meds. And have no idea how long until it will be back up. It has been down since this morning. It is now 6:29 pm jan 2 2024. Still down. I called customer service for all weis pharmacys. They said same thing system is down. No idea when it will. Be back up. I.T. just informed us. Never had a single issue with weis. App works great. Meds are filled fast . Until today. My scripts were electronically sent to weis by my dr so now im just with out those meds and they close at 9. Its every weis pharmacy experiencing this issue. I wounder if their system was hacked. I just hope im worng and its back up tonight i really need those meds.”

“I totally agree with Jack B. and the other positive reviews for Giant pharmacy in Westminster. Maybe a few years ago ppl had issues. But there are zero issues here now. I’ve been to every pharmacy in Westminster and this is by far the best. I’ve had issues at others with refusing to except GoodRx, rudeness, condescending attitude, unprofessional behavior, etc. But the staff and pharmacists at Giant are exceptionally good. Never once had a problem there. Always fast, friendly, caring, professional. Like Jack B. said if you complain about this pharmacy you obviously haven’t been to a CVS or Rite Aid or Walgreens in Anne Arundel or PG County. Rude, nasty, long waits. Maybe some ppl are spoiled here in Westminster and expect too much. Or maybe it isn’t the pharmacy but the customer. Keep up the great work Giant pharmacy staff. Especially during this 2020 pandemic. Your efforts are very much noticed & appreciated.”

“Wow! What an experience! I had wanted to get my prescriptions refilled and I had to leave a message first. I wasn’t optimistic that I’d hear back soon because most other CVS’s will call back in a few hours or days. This one, really did call back in less than an hour! Not only was the call back fast, but the employee was super nice and efficient. She helped me find my information, with all the insurance and discount plan attached. I got my text notices just when they became ready. I came right over for pickup, and the employees again were very nice. One person named Karen not only helped me nicely and efficiently but she actually walked me to the other counter to update my insurance card. I mention this because she didn’t have to, and it was a simple update. But she took the quick time to make my experience so nice. I guess I’m over the moon because this customer service stands out amongst the very poor CVS experiences that I’m used to. What a really great team!! And I had a bonus: the costs were even less than my past CVS locations! Folks this is a great store with great caring employees. ❤️”

I stood there for a couple of minutes to talk and then the “big boss” joined our conversation. It’s great to know that the employees are recognized when a good review comes in about the person. Micheal is the type of employee that is needed everywhere and everyday. He is a natural. The “big boss” is a boss that I would want to work for. If these two were the faces in every Walgreens where I live, I would be at Walgreens every morning to get a spoonful of happiness. Micheal, thank you for making my day great!!!”

“Weis may be a pricier on some items compared to some other stores, but their produce dept is always well kept and fresh. They also tend to have a better variety of fresh meats, which is always appreciated. Unlike a local competitor, Weis stores are also cleaner, they offer sales, and they tend to have more people working registers. They also offer frequent shopper rewards which save you money. All in all, there are more benefits to shop Weis than not to.”
